"So... where are you taking me?" leaning back into the comfortable, black leather passenger seat, watching the territory passing by my window.

"Shopping." He stated casually, glancing at me out of the corner of his eye.

"Shopping?" I scoffed, not really into the whole browsing through clothes to find something you like thing.

"You don't like shopping?" he chuckled in disbelief.

"Not my thing." I admit, looking over my shoulder at him as he smirked. "Now my cousin Meredith... she's a professional shopper." Letting out a slight laugh at his amused expression.

"Kinda like Elisa?" he asked, shifting gears.

"Exactly like Elisa." Shaking my head with a chuckle, knowing full well that those two must get along great.

"It's a little terrifying to think there are two of them out there." Grimacing at the thought, before flashing me his charming smile.

"Right." Agreeing with him. "But seriously..., shopping?" whining just a little bit.

"Seriously." He barked out a laugh. "I can't take you anywhere dressed like that." Waving his hand at me.

Furrowing my brow, I shot my eyes down to my clothes, seeing that I was still in my grey leggings, tennis shoes and sleeveless shirt that I had tied behind my back. Basically my workout clothes.

"Yeah... I guess not." begrudgingly agreeing with him.

"Alright then... Shopping it is." Lorcan stated with finality.

Rolling my eyes at him, I laid my head back against the headrest and stared back out the window. Within moments I felt the pressure of someone trying to push through the barriers I put up in my mind links. Biting my lip, I flicked my eyes toward Lorcan, who was cringing as he squinted his eyes to look out the windshield.

"Has Jackson tried to link you yet?" whispering the question, knowing full well that's who was trying to break through to our connection.

"He just came screaming into my head." Lorcan admitted with a grim expression, casting me a nervous glance. "He's kinda pissed." He added with a snort.

"Kinda." Questioning the truth in that statement. Knowing full well Jackson was probably on the verge of another rampage.

Shaking my head with a sigh, I knew that leaving with Lorcan would be just another thing that the pack would have a field day with. Making me out to be even worse than they already believed. And at this point I didn't care, they already decided to question me and my actions, why change a bad habit.

Leaving wasn't how we should have handled this situation Athen huffed, still pulsating the hurt and betrayal from Jackson hiding information from us. 'I know.' Admitting my actions were a bit brash, yet I needed to get away.

"Maybe... a little more than kinda." he added with a shrug of his shoulders, increasing his speed.

"I bet... and leaving with you definitely doesn't help my standing with the pack." Mumbling out the words.

"Yeah... I heard about the vote... for the Na Trialacha." Replying with a frowning expression. "You have to know that a lot of that is jealousy from the other she-wolves, that was worked up into a frenzy of disapproval of you." Showing his loyal to his pack, by attempting to explain their actions toward me.

"I figured that had to have played a part in it." Mumbling out my response as I focused on my barriers that the mind numbing pressure was baring down on.
