"I wasn't meeting him... I was on my way to the office when he stopped me. I told him to stay away from me. I swear." she quickly explained, looking up at me with her gorgeous hazel brown eyes, pleading for me to believe her.

I searched her face for any trace of her lying, but found none. Even her bodies reaction didn't betray her words. She speaks the truth Valk sighed with relief 'Or she's good at lying considering she is an Alpha's daughter.' I snapped not sure if I should trust her.

Even as every part of my being was begging me to believe her every word, pulsed with the need to trust her. To take her in my arms and never let go. Don't be a fool, you can see for yourself she speaks the truth. We are Alpha, no one can lie to us Valk snorted disgusted with me for even questioning our abilities or in our beautiful Luna.

"Fine don't believe me. I'm not doing this with you." whimpering in defeat, throwing her hands up like she was surrendering. Like she was giving up on fighting for us.

And that's when I realized that I hadn't responded to her. She pushed herself away from the wall and tried to retreat back up the stairway that was beside us. As if she was trying to get away from me and my lack of trust in her.

Conflicted with my overwrought emotions when it come to my mate, I tightened the grip I had on her waist and pulled her back to me, I wasn't letting her go that easy. I couldn't let her go, whether she lied to me or not.

"Your. Mine" growling possessively, refusing to let her walk away from me again. She let her arms drop and sag at her side as she closed her eyes in misery, turning her beautiful face away from me, looking so lost and defeated. "Look at me." snarling as I tried to bring my emotions back into check.

Bringing my hand up under her chin, pulling her chin toward mine as she shook her head refusing to open her eyes. Look what you did 'Yes I did this all by myself. You thought the same thing as I did.' Valk huffed not responding to that, knowing I was right.

"Just go Jackson... Let them know this was all a mistake." she whispered, a small sob escaping her lips as she once again tried to pull away from me. I yanked her back up against my chest, leaving no space between us. "GO." Yelling in anger as she pushes at my hard, un-moving form.

"You want to be done?... Reject me then. I refuse to be the one to walk away." whispering as I pressed closer to her, my lips nearly brushing against her soft cheeks.

That made her snap her eyes open, staring at me in complete shock. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Valk growled just as shocked as she was. 'Just trust me.' WE WILL LOSE HER pushing his panicked voice aside as I struggled to control him as he clawed, bit and howled in anger and fear will the possibility of losing her.

"Fine. Let go of me first." snapping defiantly in my face as she twisted in my arms, struggling against my hold. SEE... SEE WHAT YOU DID? YOU IDIOT.

"No. I want you to see and feel exactly what your going to give up on." growling as I pushed her back against the wall. Leaning down, running my fingers along the flesh on her toned, prefectly tanned legs before grabbing her underneath her thighs and lifted her up, wanting her to feel every part of me pressed tightly against her quivering form.

YOUR A FOOL 'She won't do it, she can't.' YOU BETTER HOPE NOT Valk growled in warning, watching in fear and panic at our gorgeous mate. She instantly wrapped her soft, voluptuous legs around me and placed her small hands on my shoulders.

I smirked at her seeing that she had finally noticed how easily she had accepted my touch, she rolled her eyes in agitation, frustrated with herself. 'See even with her being angry with us, she still responds to our touch.' Valk snarled not liking how she straightened her posture and plastered a determined look on her gorgeous face.
