Y/N POV:
I stood shoulder to shoulder with Nokk, Zero, Timberwolf, and other members of my unit in the back of a C-130 plane. Surrounding us were 8 6-man squads of Swedish Special Force operators.
Jump Master: 30 SECONDS UNTIL DEPLOYMENT, CHECK EQUIPMENT!
I patted down Zero's parachute, making sure that all the cords were where they should be and everything was aligned. Nokk patted down my chute and was able to sneak in a quick little side hug. We all got back in formation and latched our static lines' onto the anchor cable above us. I also made sure that my body camera was on and Nokk made sure that her's was on too. We stood there for a moment, my heart beating out of my chest. I was then smacked by the whip of ice cold air as the cargo ramp opened on the plane. The icy air rushed past all of us violently and distorted our hearing. After what seemed like forever, the red light above us turned green and we all looked at the Jump Master to hear the fateful words.
Jump Master: WE ARE CLEAR TO JUMP! GO GO GO!
We then followed the line of soldier in front of us as everyone rushed out. Eventually it was our turn and I took the leap off the door of the plane and into a free-fall in the blue sky. I maneuvered my body into an x position and stared at my altimeter, waiting for the moment when I could pull my parachute and the wind would stop nipping at my face. Eventually the time came and by this time I was able to start making shapes out on the ground. I pulled my chute and got some minor whiplash from the sudden drag of the parachute, creating a jerk upward. I glided down to the ground from that point on, landing next to everyone else and getting everything situated. Once everyone landed we got back into our respective squads and hid our parachute for *Swedish reconnaissance squads to recover later. We then grouped everyone up and confirmed the plan with the leader of the operation and of the Swedish SF units for the op, Cpt. Swensen.
Cpt. Swensen: Everyone has the route marked on GPS correct? We have no time for getting lost.
Every nodded
Cpt. Swensen: Very well, let's proceed. Make sure to stay out of sight when possible and we will meet on the ridge, let's move.
We then went along the route, staying together yet far enough away that we wouldn't be easily detected. We eventually got to the ridge where we could overlook the entire area... and in the middle of it all was the largest safe house, the one our squad was in charge of raiding. One of the SF soldiers pulled out a pair of binoculars and scouted the area, finding multiple other safe houses and watch towers. While they were doing this our squad took time to contact our HQ's.
Timberwolf: *on radio* This is Timberwolf to HQ, we have landed and are in position, do you copy?
Jeager Corps C-SOCC operator: *on radio* Lima Charlie, good to hear you made it.
Zero then contacted Rainbow HQ
Zero: *on radio* Ash this is Zero, all Rainbow operators are accounted for and in position, do you copy?
Ash: *on radio* Loud and clear
Mira: Body cam footage is clear, good luck
Finally, we each individually checked comms within the unit
Y/N: *On Radio* This is Warlord, do you copy?
Nokk: *On Radio* This is Nokk, do you copy?
Timberwolf: *on radio* Timberwolf, do you copy?
