Chapter 11 Hunter's POV
Lauren leaned her head against mine and held me hand tight as we sat in the edge of the bed,"was I the reason I canceled your concert yesterday?" "No no no. I'll perform tonight and perform tomorrow to make the one up. You had nothing to do with it." I said quickly and gave her a kiss on the head. I got angry, out of no where I feel anger and frustration all at the same time,"who did it?" I demanded,"Hunter if I knew, I'd tell you, but I didn't see his face." Breathe Hunter. She's fine, she didn't die, but I do want to know who hurt her, who damaged her face and bruised her ribs,"can I ask you a question?" I asked. She nodded,"what made you fall in love with me?" She sat up and looked at me,"there's many reason why I love you." "Name them." "You're handsome, passionate, funny, and most of all, you give. Not many celebrities out there have meet and greets for their fans, but you try every way to make your fans happy and that's why you are where you are now. I love you so much it scares me sometimes. When I wake up and I see you sleeping right next to me, I just can't imagine how lucky I am you picked me. Out of all the girls in the world, you fell for me. If you died and I lived? I don't know which one would be worse. I wish I can say more, but the more I talk about it, the more I get emotional." I smiled and wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close to me.
Dear god,
Where do I begin. You have given me the most impossible dream that I never thought would come true. I never thought I was going to be on a tour bus, traveling with a group of band members with my wife and my child. You have given me the chance to wake up and letting me do what I get to do. Without you or my fans, I honestly would never be here. I don't know what I would be doing now if you have never given me this opportunity. Everyday, I wake up blessed beyond belief, I get to see my fans, friends, everyday because of you and I will always thank you for that. Yes I've made mistakes, but you have forgiven me, and I will try every way possible to thank you. Thank you for giving me the chance to believe in myself everyday. I will make you proud, I will show you why you picked me, your gift to me was the talent for music, and my gift back to you is my talent. God bless you lord.
