Chapter 42 Lauren's POV
I walked on the beach as the cold breeze flew threw my hair. New York honestly has the best beaches since that's where we're at right now. I watched the waves crash down as little Hunter was picking up sea shells next to me. "Look at this one." He said showing it to me,"IT'S BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE IT." He did a little laugh as we continued our mother son walk. "DADDY!" I raised my brow and turned around as Hunter ran into Hunter's arms,"hey baby!" Hunter said with excitement as he gave him a big kiss,"whatca have there?" "SEA SHELLS!" "CAN I HELP YOU PICK THEM!?" "OF COURSE YOU CAN DADDY!" I smiled and walked as I heard Hunter help little Hunter with finding sea shells. It was sunset and the smell of the sea water was relaxing in a way. I heard little Hunter laugh really loud as I looked back as Hunter was tickling him on the sand. A tear slowly ran down my face as I laughed and smiled. That's all I want. Is Hunter to be with his son. To watch him grow up. "WATER!" Little Hunter said pointing to the ocean. Hunter stood and took his shirt off as I looked away blushing. Now go along, enjoy your day and I'll enjoy mine." They walked away whispered and muttering about what happened. I didn't do anything, but just watched our kid. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "You know your cold wet body is making me wet and cold." I told him. "I promised I wouldn't have lied to you and I did." I just shrugged,"it's over now." I spoke sounding like I don't care anymore. "It's not over now. You're right, I don't spend time with Hunter and I should be, but I'm also not spending time with you.
