Chapter 36 Young and In Love

Chapter 36 Lauren's POV
I wiped my eyes as I just stared at him. He jumped off the stage as the band members left behind him. I just stood there as he looked at me as he walked up to me and stopped. I looked at my feet and laughed as I heard him laugh then I looked up at him,"you know what my favorite part of that whole thing was?" I looked at his guitar,"when your band members got confused when the song was suppose to be over and you kept going." "I had to." He responded. "Your eyes say everything to me Hunter." I looked at them as his bright blue eyes looked down,"I love you." I said as he looked up at me. He gently placed his hands on me cheek as I took me by surprise. "Sometimes, I wake up in the morning and wonder if I really deserve to have you. I look and hear fans who want to date or marry me, but you were never one of those fans, how could a girl like you fall in love with a guy like me?" "Because a girl like me loves a guy like you." I responded with a smile. "Would it have been a girl or a boy?" Hunter said looking down. I didn't understand what he meant for a minute until I realized when the car accident happened, the baby died. I looked up and closed my eyes then back down,"a girl." "I wanted a girl." "And you have one." I told him. Hunter gave me a quick smile as it slowly faded away. I frowned,"Hunter, I-" "MR. HAYES! THE MEET AND GREET IS READY!" Hunter spun around as the manager took a step back,"I interrupted something did I?" He said as he felt embarrassed,"no you're good." I responded,"Lauren-" "Hunter go. They're waiting for you. They spent money on you for a reason." "Lauren-" "Hunter." The manager said. I looked at him as I turned around and walked out of the concert.

I headed towards the bus as my shoes hit the wet floor. Thank goodness his concert is inside and not outside. "I remembered when Hunter took me to a concert of his." I stopped and looked to my left, I couldn't tell who the girl was, but she approached me,"I'm Jessica. You don't remember me." Oh. My. Goodness. "Jessica?" I remembered Hunter dating her when he didn't want too and she got all obsessed. That was before me and Hunter got serious when we were younger,"you look different." I said is shock,"so do you." I nodded and back away from her and stared,"so what are you doing here?" "Me? What does it look like? I'm the staff here." "Nice nice." "What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be doing track?" "I'm his wife and I come with him to every concert. And I gave up track like 4 years ago." "Right, for Hunter." "What's that suppose to mean?" I questioned,"you guys loved each other so much, you just couldn't bare to be apart." "and?" "You only want him for money." She said laughing,"okay, I'm going to pretend, you did not just say that." "Then pretend." "I didn't talk to you to start a fight-" "remember when you fought me?" "Do yo remember  everything? Damn, now I remember why Hunter Hayes hated you. Why he didn't despise you. Why I didn't like you." I walked away as I shook my head 'no'. I starting mumbling under my breathe until a hand turned me around and punched me across the face. I lost my balance and then caught myself. I got focus and saw Jessica as she swung at me. "You wanna fight?" I asked pissed off,"bring it BITCH." I jumped on her taking her down punching her so hard I knew my hands were gonna be swollen after. She hit me, but not as much as I did. I hit her as I could hear her start to cry. "LAUREN!" I heard Hunter. He tackled me across the floor as I just laid there. I could see two other people next to Jessica, but Hunter was on top of me. I looked at him as he had fear in his eyes,"NO!" I screamed and cried.
