Chapter 6- DATED?!
Riley Fox>> Sasha Pieterse
--ALEXA POV-
"ALEXA! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" A loud, shrieky voice screamed in my ear, making me jolt upright in a panic.
"What? What? Where's the fire?" I yelped, my eyes as wide as saucers.
My best friend, Riley, unceremoniously shoved her phone right under my nose, temporarily blinding me. Rubbing my eyes, trying to wipe the sleep from my eyes, I tried to focus on the brightly lit screen. Looking at the bold words on her iphone, I groaned to myself.
CALEB EVANS OFF THE MARKET? A picture of us holding hands walking away from whoever took the photo was right below the caption.
After Caleb had walked me to my dorm room, he’d told me life was about to get a lot more complicated for me.
-Flashback-
“There are gonna be a lot of people who will hate you, especially that group of Barbie dolls. Lexa, are you sure you’re going to be okay?” he asked, running a hand through his already messy blond hair.
I was already regretting my actions. I didn’t need any more complications in my life. Caleb himself was already a major complication.
“I’ll be fine Caleb, relax. I’m a big girl,” I said, and told him to go back before the Barbie bitches thought we were doing the nasty.
-End flashback-
“ALEXAAA!” Riley called, bringing me back to the present, waving the screen in front of me.
“Huh? Oh… that,” I grinned sheepishly at her and she hit me with her pillow, her hands folded as she pouted prettily.
Riley was a curvy petite girl of 5’2”, with strawberry blond hair and light blue eyes, the typical all-American girl, with the personality of... words can’t describe her, she’s just my best friend.
“What do you mean by ‘oh that’? It’s Caleb! The hottest boy in our entire school!” she shrieked, and I winced.
“Glad to know that I have a fan club,” a very amused voice spoke up from the door, nearly giving me a coronary.
“Speak of the devil,” I muttered, crossing my legs on the bed.
Caleb just chuckled and walked over, kissing me on the temple, causing me to freeze and Riley to start swooning and tapping on her phone.
“For appearances sake,” he whispered, his breath ghosting over my ear.
Forcing myself to relax, I smiled up at him in greeting.
Picking up my phone I turned it on to see a flood of messages coming in, all with the same content. Scrolling through the numerous texts, I decided to reply Ashley, whom I knew would spread the word like wildfire.

Sighing, I typed up a quick reply and sent it.

Yeah…
-A
Caleb nudged me and I looked up to see Riley crossing her arms.
“When were you planning to tell me about this? I’m your best friend Lexi! How could you!” She accused, her eyes narrowing.
