Chapter 1: Dazed and Confused

"Dazed and Confused"

Red lights are the absolute worst. Especially when you've been stopped by five in a row. I mean, damn. I was already late for work, and having to worry about school after that was not making life any easier. Yes, college is fun. Yes, I love my roommate, Anna. I just wish that I didn't have to work so hard to stay in college. Money was a serious issue, and seeing how my mom is a single mother, it's difficult to ask her for money.

Hence, I'm working as many shifts as possible to earn extra cash.

*Bulletproof Love blasts from my phone*

I reached for the phone and saw that it was Anna.

"Hello?"

"You are so going to fall in love with me." Anna squealed.

"Haha, why?"

"We're going to Warped Tour baby!"

"What the he-? How did you even score tickets!?" I screamed.

"A friend of a friend sold them to me for cheap. He has this gigantic crush on me. I take advantage of it. Yes, I know. I'm such a bad person. Blah. Oh fucking well! We're going to Warped!"

"Oh my god! I can't even...!"

I seriously couldn't contain my excitement. We were going to Warped Tour.

I hadn't been since...

"Wait, Anna. Is Sleeping with Sirens going to be there?"

There was brief silence and by then I knew the answer.

"I totally forgot Cassie. I'm such an idiot. We don't have to go."

Anna knew about Kellin within the first year of us being roommates. She loved the fact that we were "besties." She hated the fact that he had been a dick and had chosen to completely leave me without a goodbye.

"No, Anna. I want to. We'll just use their performance time to go and explore the area. No biggie." 

I assured her. 

Not even Kellin could ruin this for me.

"Oh thank God." She sighed.

"Haha, I have to go. But, Warped Tour is in three days. We better start packing. I'm not just going up there for a day. We'll spend some time in Atlanta. I need to get away from Kennesaw soon. I laughed as I told her.

"Sounds like a plan, Stan!" 

(She is such a dork.)

I hung up and continued on my way to work.

Man.

This was going to be a long three days.
