"One Night"
*Cassie's POV*
He was staying for two more days. Words couldn't express how relieved I was. How... HAPPY I was.
Still in his arms, I tightened my grip.
"God, I'm still in shock." I nuzzled my head further into his neck.
I felt him laugh.
"Me too, Cass. I have two more days with you."
His grip tightened on me, and the feeling that came along with our bodies touching made me shiver. Yet, his warmth made me safe.
A knock on the door made both of us jump away from each other. This caused the chills to leave and the feeling of "home" to go away. It saddened me a little.
"Hey, Kellin... Have you seen...?"
Anna's voice stopped when she saw me. A smirk appeared on her face.
"Never mind. I found her." She laughed.
I just glared at her. She may be my best friend, but she had the worst timing. Ever.
"What do you need?" I asked.
She put up both her hands as if she was surrendering.
"Excuse me... I didn't know that I was interrupting." She said as she backed out of the room. I heard her laugh as she walked away, and as it faded, I knew that she had finally left.
"Your friend is quite interesting." Kellin laughed, as he fell back on the couch.
"Oh, shut up." I laughed, joining him on the couch. I sat on the far end, and propped my legs on his lap.
He made a face, but he rested his hands on my ankles.
My phone buzzed in my pocket, and I looked to see that it was from Anna.
"Hey... Um, I was coming to get you to tell you that I was leaving to go back to the hotel since it's almost dark, but since you were rude... I left. So, you can stay there, or you can take a cab home. Love you! (:"
I gasped, and Kellin just looked at me with a confused look.
"Anna left me here." I muttered.
He started laughing and as I saw that he wasn't stopping anytime soon, I kicked him, and stood up. He tried to stop laughing in order for me to stay, but I walked out the door anyway. I wasn't mad... I just didn't like him laughing at me like that. It made me vulnerable, once again... And I didn't enjoy it.
"Cassie!" Kellin yelled out my name, but I didn't turn around. I just kept on walking in hopes that he would just realize that I wanted to be alone.
I felt the familiar hands grab my waist and bring me into a hardened chest. I was turned around and forced to look into a sea of blue eyes. His blue eyes.
"Cassie, look at me. I didn't mean to laugh at you. I forgot how much you hated that. I'm sorry. Stay here tonight, okay?"
I just nodded, and let him lead me to his room backstage. I saw that it was a double, and my heart started to flutter a little. I didn't necessarily enjoy it, but it was comforting.
He went to his suitcase and pulled out a t-shirt and shorts and threw them at me. I stuck my tongue out at him, and he just smiled.
I walked around him to the bathroom and shut the door. I heard him sigh, and I just laughed as I stripped out of my clothing and changed into his shirt and shorts. I smiled as his smell filled my lungs, and it brought back everything.
