"Stories Left Unsaid*
*Cassie's POV*
Kellin had just finished his set with SWS, and PTV was getting ready to come on. A random guy, I'm guessing someone from the sound board, walked on stage towards the microphone.
"We're having a little technical difficulties in the sound booth, so please use these next thirty minutes to get drinks, use the restroom, or whatever you crazy kids do now. Sorry about the wait."
He walked off the stage, and I turned around to complain to Kyle, but he had already left. So, I decided to use this time to find Kellin.
I walked backstage and looked for him, but I couldn't find his band anywhere... But I did find another beautiful face.
"Hey, Cassie... Who are you looking for?"
Derek smiled at me, with that gleam in his eyes that made me want to hyperventilate.
"I'm looking for Kellin. I need to talk to him."
I hoped that I didn't sound worried or frantic, but I was pretty sure that was how my voice came off as.
His smile faded a little, seeing my obvious worry.
"I think that he went outside the stage door for some air." He just shrugged, but he started to walk over towards me and placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Don't worry, okay? Everything will be fine." He smiled at me, kissed the top of my head, and started walking towards the bar, where he met up with this beautiful girl. They kissed, and went back to talking.
So, Derek DID have a girlfriend.
Damn.
I shook it off, knowing that I didn't want him like that, not like I wanted Kellin. Derek was just a mere fantasy... Something to write about in a fan-fiction.
I walked towards the stage door, and opened it to see Kellin looking out at the sky. He looked upset. Great.
"What's wrong, Kel?"
My voice made him jump a little, and when he turned around to see me... He smiled. But then, it faded, obviously remembering that I was standing with Kyle... Someone that he hated.
"Why were you with him?" He whispered.
"Who, Kyle?" I needed to act oblivious. I wanted to hear his side of Kyle's insane story.
"Yes, Cass. The blonde guy that was obviously flirting with you. Don't trust him. He's a fucking asshole." He was pissed.
"Kel." I said, as I walked over towards to where he was sitting. I sat down closely beside him and ran my fingers through his hair.
"I just met him like five minutes ago. He made me laugh, and asked if he could tag along. I didn't see any harm in making a new friend." I said, not knowing what his response would be to that.
He looked at me, and firmly grabbed my hand that was playing with his hair. He held it so tight that it started to throb.
"Don't be his friend."
He was being a jerk. Too overprotective if you asked me. He didn't have the right to be that way with me. He let ME go.
"You're hurting me." I said, feeling my hand as it started to go numb.
He quickly released my hand, not realizing how hard he had been grasping it.
"I'm sorry..." He started to apologize, but I didn't want to hear it. He had made me mad now...
