Vivian-
"Come on Vivian!" Maddie honked her car horn as she sat in my driveway with Britt, Samantha, and Hayley.
I quickly ran downstairs and grabbed my purse, locking the front door as I ran out of the box filled house.
I was preparing to sell my house and move into Denis's after the wedding, which was set to be three months from now, quick I know, but his touring schedule was hard to work around along with my work schedule, so we decided that a wedding sooner would be better.
The girls and I were going dress shopping today, Maddie being my maid of honor or course, and Britt, Samantha, and Hayley being my bridesmaids. I needed my dress along with theirs.
I got into Maddie's car, giving them a quick apology.
"Sorry. The realtor is showing the house today and it's been crazy and hectic." I said.
They laughed.
"It's alright Viv. Just relax. Today is all about you and is going to be really fun." Samantha smiled.
"You know I hate attention." I groaned.
"Well you are marrying a man with lots of attention on him." Hayley giggled.
"I know. But his love of attention makes up for my hatred of it."
Denis was always the outgoing one.
In grade school he had always asked questions for me because I was too shy to talk in front of the class on my own.
"So what colors were you thinking for our dresses?" Britt asked.
I shrugged.
"I haven't thought about it. Maybe grey? If that's alright of course." I bit my lip.
"Vivian its your special day! You call all the shots." Britt laughed.
"It's not just mine it's Denis's too!" I protested.
"You all are so in love it's disgusting." Maddie laughed.
"Why does everyone say that!" I laughed as she pulled up to the wedding shop.
She shrugged as we got out of the car.
"Come on! Are you excited?" She smiled, grabbing my hand, pulling me towards the entry.
"I'm more nervous than anything." I bit my lip again.
"Why?" She stopped.
"Because what if I love a dress, and Denis hates it on me."
"Vivian, Denis would think you looked pretty even if you were wearing rags." She rolled her eyes. "Have a little confidence today." She smiled. "Now come on. Let's go have fun." She smiled as we walked in.
"Welcome! How may I help you today?" A consultant asked asked.
"We are looking for a dress for me, and four bridesmaids dresses." I smiled.
"Alright! Do you have any idea what kind of dresses you are looking for?" She asked.
"I want the girls in grey, preferably long dresses. And I want my dress to be simple but sexy. Not too showy." I smiled.
"Okay! We will start with the bridesmaids so I'll pull a few things while you sit here and see them as they try them on."
I nodded as I took a seat on the chair.
