Chapter 6

“Skylar! Principal’s office!”

“I will not accept this, Skylar! Principal’s office,”

“Get out of my class, and to the principal’s office, Skylar!”

“What are we gonna do with you Skylar?”

And for every single class, I got sent to the principal’s office and as always, Woods would just dismiss it with a warning that he would never do.

“Skylar, you better not do that or else I’ll suspend you!” Was the latest one.

I nodded my head innocently and was off easily.

“You have battle training with Ms Winger right now, Skye,” My cat stated helpfully.

“Thank you,”

Walking down the halls, I asked her a question, “You didn’t really talk this much before. How come you’ve brighten up so quickly?”

“Well, I’m just really pleased that I’ve found my mate,” As she said those words, my heart started beating faster and I imagined his forest green eyes, his light brown soft hair and his pale, kissable lips. I warm shiver ran up my spine.

“I know… I feel that way every time I think of him,” My cat meowed dreamily.

I smiled and entered the gym, heading towards the changing room. Stripping out from my jeans to short pants, I headed out and joined Fara, Sakura and Red in a line.

“So, what’s cookin’?” I asked them as I tied my hair.

“Boys verses girls today,” Fara said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms across her chest.

“actually, it’s more like a duel. Girls verses boys, yes but it’s like-”

“Last man standing!! Whoo!!!” Red finished off Sakura’s sentence.

I nodded my head and scanned the room just for my eyes to widen as they landed on Jack, talking with Michael.

“Dafaq is he doing here?” I frowned and muttered to Fara.

“Oh, you didn’t know that he was in your battle training? I met him in science yesterday. Quite a cutie, actually. Have you seen him biting his bottom lip? Oh mah gawd, to die for!” Fara squeeled excitedly.

“Okay, first for all, I have now come to a conclusion that you’re high on sugar and secondly…I thought you liked Michael?” I raised an eyebrow and looked at Fara who was blushing furiously.

“Umm…yeah, ‘bout that-”

“Alright, through this list, I will pair you up and you shall be practising your combat moves. You will only be able to shift once in your battle. No claws or any injuries will be sustained on your partner, is that clear?” Ms Winger glared at Red who shrugged and crossed her arms over her chest.

Sakura chuckled and patted Red on the back. Red was really hard to control when it came to battle training. She doesn’t usually listen to the rules and would either cause major injuries or set her opponents on fire. Which causes the equipment to catch fire as well… but it’s people like Michael that can replace them as quick as possible. Therefore, avoiding trouble with the principal.

There was a point when Red set her opponent and fire and he got sent to the nurse, whom came back with her fist clenched and started a heated conversation with Ms Winger. Luckily, it didn’t end up in pools of blood.

“Is that clear, Red?” Ms Winger asked again, tapping her pen on her board.

“M’kay, whatever,” Red shrugged it off again.
