Camo's P.O.V.

Time: The day after Anna and Slightly came back from climbing. Location: Hideout

We were all getting into an intense game of apples to apples when Marmaduke came rushing through the door, breathless. He tried to talk but had trouble catching his breath.

"C'mon! Spit it out boy! What is it? Did Tootles fall down the well again?" Binky teased. Tootles turned pink and flipped Binky off. I quickly slapped Tootles hand down.

"Nathaniel...Hook...battle..." He wheezed then ran to grab some water.

"What?!" Peter asked excitedly. I knew that he had been hoping for a real battle. I had made him promise not to go after James and he grudgingly agreed and he had been waiting for some sort of fight ever since. Marm caught his breath.

"Nathaniel's ship started attacking Hook's and they've been shooting back and forth for about five minutes. I literally flew as fast as I could. Looks like we get to have some fun today." Marmaduke smiled. The boys, Anna and Mary didn't even hesitate. They started grabbing gear and heading out.

We all flew out except for Kathleen and Tootles who stayed behind. Kathleen isn't much of a fighter and Tootles didn't want to leave her by herself. How sickingly cute.

When we got to the ships there was a ceasefire. The guys were obviously disappointed. I tried to see why there weren't any cannon blasts going off but Nibs saw what was going on first. Nathaniel had Libby tied up and chained up on the plank and had a gun up to her head. James was holding his arms up to his men to tell them to stop shooting. My heart beats were rapid and my breath caught in my throat. I saw Libby and instead of looking terrified, she looked bored. A cannon blast sounded from James ship and Nathaniel instead of shooting her, like it seemed he was going to do, he shoved her off of the plank.

Several things happened at once. Libby's once bored expression was now completely terrified and panicked as she fell into the sea. James shot the man on his ship that had used the cannon and that man's body fell overboard. Nibs was like lightning as he flew straight into the water. James then told his crew to fire at Nathaniel's ship. Peter flew around to James' ship and started to help loading cannon balls. The boys, Anna and Mary all followed to help James. I frantically searched for Nibs and Libby in the water. After painfully slow seconds, Nibs shot out of the water and flew over to the forest. I quickly went to Peter's side and helped James.

Nib's P.O.V.

I dove into the sea to find Libby. My eyes burned in the water but I needed to find her. After a few seconds I found her thrashing against the chains that were dragging her down. She had one arm free and was trying to get the other but was failing. I went after her as fast as I could. She stopped thrashing when I grabbed her. We burst through the top of the water and she still wasn't moving.

"Fuck!" I gasped as I saw her head fall back. I flew us into the woods. I laid her on the ground and quickly tried to push the water out of her by doing chest compressions. She started to cough out the water. I helped her sit up. She turned away from me and threw up all of the water in her. I rubbed her back as she continued coughing. After a few minutes she stopped coughing and started crying. I put my arms around her gently and at first she was stiff as a board but then she collapsed into me and just cried. She held onto my shirt and sobs shook her body. I carefully undid the chains and rope from her arms and legs.

"I'm-m so s-sorry." She cried.

"Shhh. It's alright." I assured her.

"No it's not." She cried even harder. "And that b-bastard!"
