Chapter 19 ~We go to hell

"We need to get there before she gives the caduceus to who ever it is that wants it." Leo said. We were in a circle. I was holding Lucy and Conners hand and Leo wa holding lucy's. Of course Ash and Nico were holding hands.
"How. How are we going to do that she could be there by now." I grimaced at Ash's words.
"Well we need a plan before we go in." Conners idea was reasonable but when did that ever work. It was as if Ash read my mind.
"Yeah but that never works. We get there, we get what we need and all he'll breaks loose when we try to leave."
"Well we need a plan." I shook my head
"No we don't. We get there find Lexi and get the caduceus by any means necessary." I looked to the sky squinting at the sun.
"It's nearly sundown. We need to get the caduceus back by tonight."
"Everyone hold onto each other. I'll shadow travel us to my father's realm." I was worried that Nico wouldn't have any energy to fight. " My powers are doubled in the underworld." I nodded as Leo grabbed hold of Ash's hand and we ran into a shadow of a nearby wall. It was horrible. It felt like my face was being ripped off and there was people screaming things I couldn't hear. When we landed Lucy ,Conner and Leo all fell to thier knees. Both Leo and lucy started to be sick. I was only on my feet because Nico held onto my hand keeping me up. I was trying my hardest not to puke. Both Nico and Ash started to laugh at our reactions but quickly sobered up when we looked around. I held Conner and lucy up and held onto her hand. She buried her face into my side. I whispered Stiléto and Plori and my bow and dagger appeared in my hands. Lucy grasped my wrist as we started walking slowly in the direction of hades' palace. We must have walked about half an hour when we were stopped by a ghostly figure.
"Stop you mustn't go any further." She stated. I was about to explain why we were here when Leo walked forward.
"Calypso? " He looked at her in disbelief.
"Yes Leo. My mechanic." I felt tears roll down my cheeks when Leo started to sob. He went to hug her but he just went right through her. I knew then what I had to do.
"Calypso may I speak with you in private. " She nodded and drifted to the side. I pulled the vial of healing liquid out of my bag and held it in my hand.
"What if I could return you to the land of the living? " She nodded enthusiastically. I held the potion out and put it in her palm. Making sure it wouldn't go right through her. She unstoppered it and drank it all. She started to shine thus bright golden light and Leo ran over.
" WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!!" He started to yel at me so I looked over his shoulder as the light started to dim and smiled. I grabbed his shoulders and turned him round. Calypso was standing there alive. Her cheeks were rosy and her hairwasn't limp and lifeless.
"Calypso? " He looked at her in disbelief. She ran to him and hugged him tight. I felt Conner wrap his arm around my waist and his head on my shoulder.
"That was very nice of you Ava." I smiled as Leo and Calypso started to kiss.
" I couldn't just let him live unhappily. Could I?" He started to reply when a voice rung out.
" Well look at this happy reunion. I am glad you got my hint Ava." We all spun round to see Lexi step out of the shadowsand she had completely changed. She was now wearing a black leather dress with calve high boots and leather gloves. Her normal red hair had changed to black. She carried the caduceus in one hand and a black stygnian sword in the other. She saw me looking at the sword and brandished it in my direction.
"Do you like it? I had it modified it can now kill demigods like you. " Leo pushed Calypso behind him trying to protect her as Lexi snapped her fingers and what seemed like hundreds of monsters appeared out of nowhere. I pushed Lucy behind me but she laughed and walked towards Lexi.
" Lucy what are you doing?" I hissed as she grasped Lexi's hand.
"I thank you for trying to keep me safe but I am safer without you. " I looked at her in astonishment.
My sister is evil. She joined the wrong side. I shared looks with Leo and Conner and both of then we're just as confused as I was.
" Lucy why? " She smiled at me.
" Because the gods don't care about us. They think they are superior because they have thrones and watch from above. It is because of them that my father is dead. They don't care about us." I was confused.
" your father isn't dead" I said seething with anger.
" didn't anyone tell you. Darren isn't my real father." She started to laugh. My innocent ten year old sister is evil. Lexi clicked her fingers and the monsters attacked us.I fought my way towards Lexi and saw leo protecting Calypso by throwing diluted greek fire at the monsters so that they wouldn't hurt us. I finally got to Lexi and advanced on her. She swiped at my throat but I blocked her attack. She kept coming at me but she was slowing down. I then switched from defense mode to offence and started to swipe at her. I managed to corner her but she clicked her fingers and disappeared. I heard her behind me about to attack me from behind so I swung my sword turning around and it hit her turning her into bronze dust. I saw Ash and the others defeat their own monsters. Leo had Calypso in a tight embrace as did Ash and Nico. We did it, We won.

Ok so I know it is a really short chapter but all is not yet finished there is still one more chapter to go.
And Lucy OMG but I have big plans for her.
