"Are you a little calmer about going on the plane ride back?" Jin folded his clothes neatly, stacking them on top of each other in methodical order in his suitcase. Hoseok watched silently, scrunching his face at the obsessive-compulsive nature of his eldest lover.

He definitely was still terrified, "I'll just let you guess, Hyung," he smiled softly, his fangs pressed against his lower lip, digging into the skin ever so slightly. Normally, it would be painful, but Hoseok was used to it.

Jin frowned a little, lips downturned, "Did the snacks help at all, baby?" He crouched to the ground, digging into another backpack. Hoseok could tell just by the peak inside that it was full of snacks.

Jin was always so kind and almost parental in nature at times. It's one of the many things about the vampire that Hoseok loved so dearly. It was hard not to fall in love with him after time-consuming, excruciating dance practices when Jin was always there with a water, or a bloodbag, ready to go from him.

"They did," he smiled, remembering Jungkooks shocked face when he had unzipped the snacks. It was something Hoseok had already been used to. "Somewhat..." His face lowered, "planes just scare me, I dont think that will ever go away."

"You are immortal, sweetie, even if something were to happen, you would be okay, I would make sure of it."

"I know, baby..." Hoseok whispered, "It's just-"

"The people, I know," Jin zipped up his suitcase, walking over to Hoseok, his hand caressing his cheek, thumb rubbing gently and rhythmically, "you are a kind soul, baby."

Hoseok beamed, giving Jin a gentle kiss, "You just get me."

"I always do," Jin teased. He offered to pack Hoseok's things for him if Hoseok brought everything to his room. He would never miss a chance to spend time with his lovers, and Jin always managed to calm him down right before a flight.

He never liked heights, even when he was a human. It never seemed safe, even though logically he knew that everyone inside was safer there than in a car; it still never helped to ease his mind.

The idea of witnessing a mass casualty incident made him sick. He was an army doctor when he was a human. Spending time on the field trying in vain to save helpless soldiers.

It took a toll on him, and after he was shot and subsequently turned on the field, he couldn't do it anymore. The blood, the pain, the suffering. Oddly, a vampire should like those things, but Hoseok? Can't stand it.

It took him a while to even be okay with the idea of feeding off humans. His sire taught him how to keep them alive, but the fear still overtook him every time he would feed.

He was the last to taste Jimins blood when they all got together. He was so reluctant to hurt his lover, even when Jimin would repeatedly insist that it was okay and that he even wanted it.

The invention of synthetic blood saved his life; if he could only drink that for the rest of his life, he would be happy. Sadly, vampires still need human blood from time to time, and he, as an idol, needed it even more frequently than most.

He usually never even craved human blood.

Usually.

Jungkook was an exception to that.

Hoseoks first impression when it came to Jungkook was that he seemed weird. He was a human, a pretty one, and he chose to go be a manager for an idol group notorious for running them off.

It was easy to tell he was the kind of person who liked to rile people up. Hoseok watched him do it to everyone, repeatedly, and even tried with him. He was always unsure what kind of reaction Jungkook was after. He never seemed particularly pleased, no matter how they responded.
