14. Eldest woes

Jin leaned in to the mirror carefully, sighing to himself as he fixed his fringe that had been practically glued to his forehead in hopes of remaining still throughout the shoot. He glanced to his side, watching Hoseok mull over the dance moves one more time with a forgetful Taehyung and Yoongi following his lead. 

He smiled fondly, watching them with a softened expression. They looked so good for the comeback, he did not need to remind them, though; he was happy to tell Taehyung all about it when he had him bent over the table last night. He was happy to praise him, one hand carressing his body and the other holding both of Taes' hands behind his back. The younger whining any time he looked at Jin, much to his pleasured amusement.

Just the thought alone had him aching to drag the youngest into the nearest closed-off space so he could finish what they had started last night. He had to punish him one way or another, and this happened to be his favorite way to do it, fucking Taehyung to the point of whiny exhaustion. 

Taehyung had been much more perked up now than he was this morning; the maknae of his group had taken the most time to get out of bed, which was to be expected. He wasn't normally the one who dished out punishments, usually leaving that to Yoongi or Namjoon, but the circumstances were different. 

Jungkook was an anomaly to Jin. The incident with Taehyung came as a surprise to him. He was so strange and reacted to things differently than any manager prior. To Jin, a man whose lived hundreds of years. He's met plenty of outwardly defiant humans, the kind who would act out or treat vampires wrong. However, with Jungkook, it was different, and he hadn't realized that till he had a proper conversation with Namjoon. 

They were in the kitchen late one night. Jin had been doing the dishes while Namjoon leaned against the counter, just watching his lover. 

"So Jungkook," Namjoon had piped up, causing Jin to slowly turn off the water so he could hear him properly. 

"What about him?" Jin raised an eyebrow, concerned. He turned to look at Namjoon, the leader, wearing a practically expressionless face. He knew his lover wouldn't bring someone up for no reason, but still strange. He had been under the impression they were trying to get rid of him, and by this point, Namjoon seemed rather indifferent to him.

"He's been here for quite a while now; most managers would have quit by this point." Namjoon sighed. Jin raised an eyebrow. It wasn't exactly what his lover said that had his interest piqued. It was his demeanor. It didn't seem like Namjoon was all that mad that Jungkook was still here. Quite the opposite, actually. 

"You don't seem that upset by it." He hummed, walking over to his lover, arms wrapping around the back of his neck, the leader's shoulders relaxing. 

"What would give you that impression?" he hummed, the deep vibrato causing Jin to lean in closer to him. It was rare for them to be able to share moments like this, especially when a comeback is close. They had a video shoot tomorrow, and both should already be in bed. Jin had already been pretty tuckered out by punishing his youngest, but nights like these were always the hardest to sleep through. 

Jin smirked slightly, amused. "Have you grown fond of our manager?" 

Namjoons eyes narrowed slightly, hands slipping to Jin's waist, his thumbs caressing the bare skin underneath his loose silk button-up shirt. "Fond wouldn't be the right word for it..." He muttered, kissing Jins' neck softly. 

The eldest cooed, a cherry blush tinting his cheeks ever so slightly. "So then what would my love?"

Namjoon removed the contact, but stayed close to his lover, a hand running through his peach-toned hair. "Im curious about him." The corner of Jin's mouth twitched. He wanted to be surprised by it, and it's not like he wasn't shocked, but he had been feeling Namjoons change in behavior as of late. The eldest isnt blind to the way Namjoon has begun to look at their manager.
