A Guide On Note-Passing

You must be wondering "Where's Aaron's Crush of the Week?", well wait no longer. It was hard to even work up the courage to LIKE another girl after the disasters with Alisha and Ashley.

But this was when my crush on Selena Gomez developed. I LOVE her. I know you were expecting me to name someone from the wide array of girls I've named already, but none of them. Just Selena Gomez. I was infatuated. Back in 7th Grade I used to adore Emma Watson, but even she pales in comparison to Selena Gomez *heart eyes*

I became obsessed with her music, cause her voice is just so AWESOME and she's so PERFECT! So I just had to tell Dana and Selena, I tried to tell them during school because it couldn't wait until recess. It was Math class with Ms. Mershin. She looked like a drill sergent or a prison warden or something. Basically, she was a scary person.

But I've passed notes tons of times. I actually have a box full of notes I passed to Dana and Selena (mostly Dana) titled "8th Grade Memories".

The trick to successfully passing a note is as follows: If you're in class, and it's urgent (which is usually is),

1. Then attach it to your pen and pass your pen to the friend ONLY if they sit adjacent to you, and make it seem as if you're letting them borrow the pen.

2. Quickly pass it to them when the teacher isn't looking, this is the classic way to do it.

3. If you're in front and your friend is in the back, or vice versa, have a reliable friend in the middle pass it to them. Make sure this friend is stealthy and won't rat you out, or worse, read the note. But I don't recommend this method, as you're endangering the life of an innocent peer.

4. Drop the note (and something else you're using, like your writing utensil) on the ground, and ask that person to "Please pick that up for me", and they'll take the note and hand you back whatever you dropped.

5. If they sit next to you, drop it into their bag when the teacher isn't fixated on you. It's less glaringly obvious than handing it to that person. Make sure your friend knows it's in their bag, and then they'll take it out and read it.

If you're not careful, you can get into deep trouble. From my experience any of the following could happen:

1. They could ask you to read out the note. Which would be bad if you made fun of the teacher, a student or the lesson you're doing. This happened to me, and the note was as follows:

Me: "Ms. Mershin is so lame *eye-roll face*. Could Math get any more boring?

Dana: "lol Aaron ikr. It's like she tries to put us to sleep. Btw what were you telling me?

Me: "That I luuuuurve Selena Gomez :P"

Dana: "lol dude, you're so immature some-"

And there she was cut off.

2. They could take you to the principal and call your parents in. Then your parents would know you're sending notes and they'd know the content. This happened to Dana and Ariana.

3. You could get separated from your friend, and the teacher would start paying extra close attention to you during class. Happened to Dana and Ariana after #2 happened to them. This also happened to Selena once in Arts, I'll tell you that story later.

4. Detention/Cancelling of P.E.

So be careful with note-passing, take it from someone who passed over a hundred notes in 8th Grade.
