*Draco's POV*
I grab Hermione's hand and we sprint to the Gryffindor common room, hoping we aren't to late.
As prefects, we know the password.
We practically scream it at the Fat Lady and the moment it swings open, we dash in and run to the middle of the common room. I stumble on a person laying on the floor. I assume it's just a drunk Gryffindor.
"Where's Harry & Ginny?!' Hermione demands.
Everyone is staring at us.
Not at us, behind us.
At the ground.
At the drunk body I had tripped over.
Only, it wasn't a drunk body. And it wasn't a body, it was bodies.
No just any bodies, two bodies of people we know.
I turn around first and the moment I lay eyes on the scene, my knees buckle and my eyes fill with tears.
Hermione turns around after me, and she falls to the ground. Her shoulders are shaking and she's crawling towards the bodies.
The bodies are cold, icy and dead.
There, on the floor of the Gryffindor common room, are two dead bodies.
The dead bodies of Harry Potter & Ginny Weasley.
