"I don't know about this." Currently we were in the woods about to play a game.
It was dark and eerie. I just want to go home, but they said after we play this stupid game.
"It'll be fun. Trust me it'll be okay." Chloe reassured us. I couldn't bring myself to believe her though, "Calm down Em. It'll be okay."
We stopped in a clear spot. "So what's the game exactly?" Yes! Thank you Syl.
"It's basically hide and seek but elite version." Jake smirked. "Our family plays it every full moon."
"Rules?" I asked feeling uneasy about this. "Rules? There are no rules." Aiden smirked as well and put his arm around Sophia making her blush.
When did that happen? Am I the only one who didn't know this?
I looked towards Syl who had the same look on her face. "Okay, so how do we play?" I asked.
"Girls versus guys. You hide we seek."
"Deucalion stays with me." I perked up making Alex made an unsure face.
"Okay. Now go hide!" Tyler shooed us and we ran for it.
Syl and I stayed together, we just ran until Syl got tired. We walked a little further up the way before hiding.
"Deucalion, shush." He was growling at something and I didn't understand why.
We were hiding in a small hole like place. We could see whoever was coming but they couldn't see us unless they got close enough.
"Do you think they'll find us?" Syl asked and I just shrugged. "It's raining, so hopefully they will."
Did I mention we were soaked? No? Well we're soaked from the rain.
Why did they chose this game and why now? Ugh, they so owe me a shopping trip.
"Now we wait."

"Do you hear that?" Syl asked while looking around.
The rain made it hard to see anything, but a branch snapped made us jump.
"Deuce!" Deucalion suddenly sprang from our hiding spot and started barking at something or someone.
I shot up only to quickly cover my mouth at the sight in front of me. Wolves, holy shit there are three giant ass wolves.
I looked up again and willed myself not to scream when I saw Deucalion lung at one of them but the instantly took him down.
Oh my god.
The sound of snapping caused me to close my eyes shut and cover ears. The wolves suddenly growled and began to approach our hiding place.
I moved towards Syl but gasped when she wasn't there and instead a wolf was, Syl was being held up by some guy.
"Well look what we have here." His voice it reminded me of someone but who? "W-What do you want?"
Curse myself for stuttering. Okay deep breathes, remember what gramps taught you Em.
"Nothing really but letting you guys live means that you might tell someone." I shook my head.
"Who would we tell?" I snapped back.
Probably not smart because the wolf snarled at me. Rude much?
"Oh I don't know, maybe your werewolf friends." Wait hold up rewind. "What?" That's impossible.
"Are you that stupid? You haven't noticed when their eyes slightly change or when they growl?" Before I could answer another wolf from out of no where leaped from the trees and attacked the man.
Syl quickly ran to me. "D-Deuce."
I held back the urge to cry, what am I going to tell my parents? It's not like I can replace him. Well I can but that will never be an option.
"We need to run." She told me, I nodded and we started running.
I'm pretty sure we slipped a couple times but we didn't stop.
"Alex!" I saw him up ahead and he quickly turned around. "Are you guys okay?" Before we could answer the next thing we knew wolves came from the trees.
Alexander growled and I gasped backing away, oh my god.
"Run." He told us but I couldn't move.
I watched as he morphed or whatever into a wolf. I let out the loudest scream I could before running with Syl by my side.
We made it to their house but made a run to my car. "Go, go, go!" Syl shivered in the seat beside me as I fumbled with the key.
We got the car to start and I didn't hesitate to drive off.
"What was that?! Oh god, what did we see?!" Syl kept mumbling and mumbling.
Honestly I was freaked out too. "Are they all like that?!"
"I don't know anymore Syl." I couldn't help but finally cry.
Deucalion, my first ever dog was dead. The guy I was falling for, was a werewolf or whatever.
Fuck, so much for avoid love at all costs. For fucks sake, how could this happen?
"C-Can you drop me off home?" I nodded and parked in front of her house. "Be careful okay?" She nodded before running inside.
Quickly I got to my house, and locked all the doors. I went to the basement and flicked on the lights, I moved the beanbags and the bed.
There was a hollow area in the ground to which I opened it, inside was a bow my gramps gave me when I was smaller, and some arrows.
I hid them because my mom hates the idea of any weapons being in her house.
I didn't grab my bow however, I grabbed my Chinese Ring daggers before going back upstairs.
It didn't take long for the door burst open and I quickly threw a dagger, hitting Alexander in the shoulder.
He groaned in pain and a part of me wanted to apologize but I didn't. I wouldn't.
"What are you?"
