I woke up around noon, feeling cold.
I groggily opened my eyes and realized Alexander wasn't here, but instead there was a note.
Emily,
Sorry I'm not there to see you're beautiful face when you woke up.
I had some business to take care of but I promise to come by later.I smiled played on my lips as I got out of bed and walked downstairs. "Good morning sugarplum." I screamed and placed a hand over my heart trying to slow it down.
"Gramps?" He smiled at me and pulled me into a hug.
"It's nice to see you." I didn't know what to say, so I just hugged him back.
"What are you doing here?" I smiled at him and took a seat on the couch.
I was still in Alex's shirt and I silently prayed he didn't ask me about it. "I see he marked you." I blushed and tried to cover my neck.
"Gramps!" He chuckled and patted my knee lightly. "I was hoping to keep you away from all of this. I see that didn't go so well."
I smiled shyly and shook my head, "Well seeing as I'm mated to a werewolf. It would've been impossible."
"Not that I'm not glad to see you gramps but, what are you doing here?" He never answered my question and I was starting to get the feeling he was avoiding it.
"I'm here on business with Red Dawn pack." The who?
"Who?" He laughed at my confusion. "That's the name of the pack here. Red Dawn." Oh well I feel dumb.
"There's a rouge running around the territory and I'm here to hunt him down. I also have come to ask you for help."
Me? "Why me?" He sighed and sat back on the couch. "I'm old Em. I'm not as young as I used to be."
I hated when he talked like this. It broke my heart.
"Gramps, I know nothing about hunting." Sweet baby jesus is this really happening?
"We hunt together, Em."
Yep, this is really happening. "Okay so what's the code?"
I've been watching way to much Teen Wolf. "You watch to much Teen Wolf," He laughed at me.
"Alright, when do we start?" I'm going to get myself killed one day, but taking risks is a good thing.
Right?
"Well now. Get dressed and I'll grab the gear."
Alexander please don't get mad at me.

Gramps and I along with several other wolves including Alex we're walking around the forest, hunting. Let's just say he wasn't happy.
"Gramps! Over here." He came to where I was kneeling. "There's blood." He knelt down and touched it, "He's hunting."
A branch snapped and I pulled out my cross bow. "And looks like we're his new prey." Everyone got in defense mode waiting for him to attack.
Before anything could happen something strange happened.
He just walked out.
"I want the Beta." He growled, making me flinch.
He either once had power or he's just that powerful. "Who's asking?" Alexander stepped forward.
"Ahh, Beta. So nice to see you again." Who was this guy? And how does he know Alex?
Alex doesn't seemed surprised, he doesn't even react like the other wolves did when the man stepped forward.
Just who is he?
"I'm confused, I don't remember you." Alex kept himself composed. "No? Well how about Rosie?" The wolves growled as well as Alex.
That got his attention.
Who's Rosie? "Awe I see your pack remembers her, and I'm glad you do too. Seeing as you're the one who killed her!" My eyes widened, he did what now?
"She doesn't know?" He let out a meticulous laugh. "You thought you could just start over?!" His voice was cold and laced with hatred.
"First you rape her then kill her! You have no right to forget." I lowered my weapon and backed away from Alex stepping closer to gramps.
"I did no such thing! It was consensual. But I did kill her, only because she attacked me!" The way he said it, it sounded like he wasn't only trying to convince this man but himself too.
"She was drugged, you knew yet you still slept with her." This man, from his tone I could feel his pain.
"Enough of the chit chat."
He directed his attention towards me, "A mate for a mate, Alexander. You made that choice the minute you killed Rosie."
Alexander growled, "You won't touch her." The man chuckled, "Who says I'm alone?"
Loud growls were released which caused the man to smirk.
"A la medianoche, voy a venir a usted (At midnight I'll come to you)."
His eyes never left mine until fog appeared and he disappeared from my sight.
"Em, I-" I held my hand up to him, "No, just don't touch me." I walked away ignoring the urge to go back and hug him.
This mate bond will be the death of me, every part of my body wants to be near him.
Ever since he marked me, it's like I can't, no I don't want to be away from him.
But he never told me any of this, so I can't help but feel betrayed.
