"Push Sylvia, push!" She clutched my hand tighter and screamed as she pushed for the final time.

"I'm going to kill Tyler!" She was panting now and the doctors congratulated her on her baby girl.

"It's Delia." She cried as she held Delia in her arms.

This was her second child, her first was a boy, Elijah. They wanted to wait till he was old enough before trying again.

"How are you feeling?" The nurse asked before taking Delia so they can clean her up.

"Like I took the biggest shit of my life." I couldn't help but laugh and she glared at me.

"Oh you're next so I wouldn't even make fun." Oh right, I'm pregnant.

I found out two months ago, so I'm three months pregnant at the moment. Of course Alexander was thrilled but I was nervous.

This would be our second child. We were lucky enough to have a boy our first try, but this one could be a girl.

Syl noticed my quiet state and grabbed my hand giving it a reassuring squeeze, "Hey, look at me." I looked at her with a sad smile on my face.

"Positive thoughts love. Everything will be alright." I took a breathe and nodded, "I'll go tell everyone the news."

She nodded and as I was walking out, Tyler was running in. "Good luck." He smiled at me before going through the double doors.

Oh was he going to be an earful for not being there for childbirth.

"So?" Her mom asked impatiently as soon as I reached them. I opened my mouth to speak but didn't say anything, just to create suspense. "Will you just say it already!"

I rolled my eyes at Chloe before smiling, "It's Delia!" They all cheered and followed me as I lead them to her room.

Everyone was congratulating her, while the guys talked about loud knows what. But us girls were around her bed and admiring little Delia who was sleeping.

"Where's momma?" We all smiled at Sylvia as Elijah walked into the room with Sylvia's mom along with my son Aaron.

"Good luck." I patted her shoulder and she playfully glared at me.

Aaron came to me and I picked him up. He laid his head on my shoulder but it wasn't long till he fell asleep. We had Aaron in August which was a month after Elijah was born.

Elijah climbed onto the bed with Syl and gasped at the sight of Delia. "Who is that momma?!" She giggled and adjusted herself so he could see Delia better.

"This is your baby sister." He frowned and pouted lightly making me awe at him. "She's so tiny though."

The room filled with laughter and Syl nodded at him. "That's because she has to be a baby first." He didn't understand but he still nodded.

The doctor came in shorty after and we had to leave since Syl needed rest.

"We'll come by tomorrow." She nodded and waved as we exited the room.

"What are you thinking about love?" I was staring at Aaron as he slept, when Alexander came from behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"This baby." I whispered but I knew he heard me.

He sighed and kissed his mark making a shiver go down my spine. "We'll get through this, Em."

I turned around to face him. "Alexander, if this child is a girl .. then you know what'll have to happen."

I held back the urge to cry, I needed to try and be calm, stressing was bad for the baby.

"I know. Everything will be okay." I wanted to protest but I knew no good would come from it.

"Come on let's go watch some TV." I nodded and allowed him to drag me downstairs.

We were, in one of the houses close to the pack house. I'm taking online classes for college, Alexander allowed me the choice to leave for college but we both knew we wouldn't be able to handle it.

We cuddled together on the couch and I sighed in content. "I love you, you know that right?" I giggled and nodded.

"And I love you Alexander." I kissed his cheek and he smiled at me. "This is a horrible time but now is better than never."

I frowned confused, "What?" He shook his head and helped me stand as he lead me outside. "But Aar-" He cut me off before I could finish, "Will be fine."

I huffed in defeat and let him lead me to the woods. He covered my eyes and I was hesitant but I trusted him.

"Alexander where are we going?" I asked while wrapping my arms around me, it was freezing right now.

"You'll see." I knew he couldn't see me but I still rolled my eyes. "And don't roll your eyes." I couldn't help but laugh. He knew me so well.

Eventually we came to a stop, and he uncovered my eyes. We were at the lake, the one where I had found the body.

"What are we doing here?" I turned around to face him only to gasp.

He was on one knee with a black box in his hand.

Oh my god.

I was covering my mouth but I didn't fail to notice that Syl and Tyler were recording or taking pictures.

They were apart of this? What in the world?! My own best friend! Traitor. Wait when did she even get out of the hospital?!

"We're full of broken promises that were inedible to prevent but this promise, the one I'm about to make to you, is one I will never break. I, Alexander Deucalion, promise to love you and only you. You've already had one of my kids and hopefully many more to come. You've changed my life in a way that I can't explain, you'd never would of guessed we'd be together if it weren't for you bumping into me that day five years ago. But Emily Marie Reynolds, I love you, from your worst moments, to your good ones, and just everything. I will never stop loving you and if that day comes it'll be the day I die. I made a promise to you, do you remember it?"

I nodded, wiping my eyes. "Yes, and I also remember telling you to never make a promise you can't keep."

"And this is me keeping my promise. Emily Marie Reynolds, will you marry me and become, Mrs. Deucalion?"

I was speechless but I managed to nod my head, "Yes!" I chocked out while throwing myself into his arms.

I watched him slip the ring on my finger and I couldn't help but cry even more.

Tyler and Syl came to join our hug, we went back to the pack house were a celebration was waiting.

As everyone mingled and whatnot, I felt relaxed.

This was our family, with new members coming, some going, but this was home.

Alexander came and wrapped his around me from behind. "I love you."

I smiled and leaned against him, "I love you too."

"Promise me something?" He hummed, "That when we find out the gender of this baby, nothing will change?"

I knew it was a lot to ask but I needed that reassurance. "Things will change a little baby, but nothing will ever change between us."

And that was a promise, I knew he would never break.
