There is no such thing as a good thief, they all belong behind bars. Well that would have been a welcome change to this boy that was out on the streets alone. He was only eight years old and was stuck in the city of Los Angeles. He didn't remember anything about his family, he just knew his name was Kit, he knew how to talk, how to write, and the one lesson he remembered being taught was to always do the right thing, unless there was no other choice. In his situation now, there was no other choice, he had to steal to survive, and he only stole what he, food and drinks and would go from abandoned buildings at night to try to get a decent night sleep. He eventually decided he needed to learn if he was going to continue surviving, so he began taking school books and other study materials, he wanted to learn everything he could about the world. When he got to age fourteen, he decided it may be best to get a true higher education; he stole some new clothes and began sneaking his way into some high schools. The teachers never really cared if there was one more student in the room then they had on the list. He continued this for four years, obviously he never passed a class with a letter grade, he just used the classes to increase his own knowledge. He was still able to learn everything he needed to know, he has a photographic memory, once he learns something, he will always remember.
Then came college, he walked into the University of California and grabbed a schedule of the classes, he also did that for all the other colleges that were nearby. He got himself a little bit more impressive clothing attire and went into the classrooms like any other student. He took classes for English comp, theatre, math, criminal justice, criminology, and most important chemistry. After three years, he turned twenty one and decided he was done with college and learned all he needed, it was then he truly decided to become a thief. He never robbed people on the street or that seemed they were barely making it through life. He eventually took a gun from a store with some bullets; he never used it for offense or to threaten another's life, he had it for his own protection. The only people he would steal from were celebrities and those of the upper class status. Though he was a thief himself, he never turned a blind eye to someone being bullied or mugged on the streets, especially if they were a young lady. Whenever he stole, or helped someone, he left his card. Eventually it was on the news and the papers all about the modern day Robin Hood known as Kit the Thief and how money and jewels were not safe if you had plenty of them.
Then there was a challenge laid out from a rich man by the name of Michael Joseph, he wanted to see if Kit could break into his home and take his diamond. Kit had stolen so much; he had already had a house, car, everything he could possibly imagine. The thrill was no longer in getting money, it was the thrill of the challenge, so he spent the next day examining the house, the layout the security and found the best way in to get the diamond and to get out. He also saw someone his age walking around the yard; he didn't pay any extra attention. Once night fell, Kit made his move; he snuck by the security guards, through a window that's always open, sprayed the one guard inside with some sleep gas he made, snuck his way through the rest of the house and was staring down the diamond, when suddenly the nozzle of a gun was pressed against the back of his head. He turned around to find that the guy he saw in the yard was standing in front of him.
"So glad to finally meet you, Kit the Thief.'
"Well I can promise you, the honor is all yours, so what's your name."
"They call me Dragon, I'm a bounty hunter and there is a huge price on your head."
"Oh please, I've seen the price on my head, it's nothing compared to the price of that diamond."
"That's why I was hoping to get the chance to meet you, the bounty hunter life is getting boring, and I was hoping you might have need for a partner."
"Never thought of it before, but if the choices are for me to take you as a partner or have you turn me in, I don't have much choice, do I."
"Nope."
"Well let's take this diamond, get out of here, and go celebrate our new partnership."
"Sure thing, boss."
That's where the partnership between Kit and Dragon began, which led to a new beginning for the two of them living life to the fullest. Dragon followed Kit's ways of only taking from the rich and never to use his gun to threaten the lives of others, it was for defense only. So they continued, some of the jobs they did that actually turned out to help the community made it to the news, but most of it was mainly just about what they had stolen. Eventually they got an airplane and both of them got their pilot license and they were traveling all over the world stealing money, jewels, and artifacts. For both of them, they were living the high life.
