It was a nice peaceful day off from work, and Kenneth decided there was nothing better to do then something he hadn't done in a long time, and that was to go to a comic book store. He pulled into the parking lot and went inside. The owner Danny greeted him as he walked into the building.

"Hey Ken, long time no see, how have you been?"

"Good to see you Dan, you have no idea, life has been pretty exciting recently."

"Wish I could say the same, this place is dead right now, and there are only four guests in the building."

"I only see three here, their all playing cards."

"Fourth guest is in the bathroom right now."

Kenneth began walking towards the back wall of the store where the action figures were. He stopped to see the card game the guys were playing; it was one he hadn't heard of before so he wasn't sure what any of the cards were. They were ecstatic to meet someone else and happily introduced themselves; there was Chris, Shawn, and Kevin they were only like fifteen or sixteen. Kenneth introduced himself and only watched for a minute then continued walking back to the figures, when suddenly the bathroom door swung open and caught him in the face, knocking him down.

"Kenneth, are you ok?" He heard a familiar female voice say.

When he opened his eyes, Alice Miller was leaning over him checking on his head.

"Hey Alice, nice to see you, just wish it was nicer for my head." Kenneth said sitting up rubbing his forehead.

"You're the one that was walking too close to the side; that was just dumb on your part."

"I'm sorry; I didn't think someone would leave by pushing the door open like The Hulk. He said while laughing.

The two grabbed some chairs and sat down to talk for awhile, Kenneth informed her of everything that had happened since they last talked.

"Wow so you found yourself in Egypt, ran into the most popular thief of our generation, three times, went through a zombie attack, went back in time to London 1888 and fought Jack the Ripper, either you have gone completely mental, or I need to start spending some time with you to check this out for myself."

"Yea believe me, it's not quite as much fun as it sounds."

Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of an argument coming from the three boys' playing cards.

"Ironman is the greatest hero of all time!" Kevin who was a very skinny boy with short hair said.

"No way man, it's Wolverine, he's the best." Chris who had long hair and was a bit on the heavy side argued.

"Kevin, stop talking about those stupid heroes, just keep playing the game." Shawn a short round boy with a soup bowl haircut requested.

"Did you just say; those stupid heroes? I can't believe you could say that you loser." Kevin said looking at Shawn.

"Ironman and Wolverine are cool, but none of them compare to Captain America, end of story." Alice interfered.

"Captain America, what a lame hero, what do you think, Kenneth?" Kevin asked.

"Myself, I always thought Batman was the most badass hero of all time."

The three boys laughed when Kenneth mentioned his favorite hero and they went back to their game. In return Alice and Kenneth laughed at the kids and went back to their conversation; it didn't take long before they once again found themselves interrupted, this time Shawn stood up and pointed a finger at Kevin.
