In the middle of the night, close to four in the morning, there was an armored truck for a money transfer company going down the highway. Suddenly a police car with both lights and sirens going appeared behind them. They tried to lose the police in the traffic but the car was able to stay on their tail. Eventually given no other choice, they were forced to pull over to the side of the road. The two guards came out and walked around to the back of the truck, standing in the lights coming from the car. Two men came out from the police car and stood in front of it directly in the lights. They were not dressed in police uniforms; they both were wearing black dress shoes and slacks. The one that came from the passenger seat had long hair and a heavy beard and mustache, and wore a white shirt under a black blazer. The other one was very clean cut and only wore a black shirt.

"You're Kit, aren't you?" One of the men asked.

"Hmm, I'm impressed, yes I am Kit, and this is my partner Dragon."

"What do you want?" The other man asked.

"Well, you see I want to increase my funding so I thought we would borrow some money from you guys."

"Well I would hate to disappoint you but there is no money back here, so get out of our way." The first guard demanded.

"Well it must be something worth wild that you guys are transferring for you to go through the trouble of taking an armored car."

"It's...it's...none of yer business...just go...away." The second one proclaimed.

"Hey buddy, you don't look so good." Dragon stated.

The man had steam coming from his body as he began to unbutton his shirt. He was very skinny and frail; his bones were clearly visible through his skin. He started coughing and hurling up blood. He reached into his pocket and got a small white pill, he began to put it in his mouth, but his hand was shaking too much and he dropped it, it ended up rolling onto the street. He chased after it and was able to grab and swallow it. Suddenly he was caught in the headlights of a car as it raced down the street. The driver must have seen him because they tried to swerve and miss him, but they couldn't stop in time. As they swerved, the back of their car hit the man, sending him flying back to where Kit and the others were, a small puddle of blood began to form under the man.

"Well, it looks like you're down one partner, so how about you just hand over whatever is inside that..." Kit was saying as the man on the ground suddenly sprung up and punched him in the gut and back handed him in the side of the face.

The man's partner pulled out a pistol and shot Dragon in the arm. They opened the back doors of their truck and tossed Kit inside; the man that punched him went in the back as well, while the one with the gun ran to the driver door and started speeding off. Dragon took his shirts off and grabbed a knife from his bag and popped the bullet out of his shoulder. He then took some ointment and rubbed it around the wound; finally he got some bandages and wrapped his shoulder up. Once that was done he got his shirts back on and ran to the driver side of the car. He fired up a laptop, and pulled up a tracking program that was linked to a device that Kit had on himself. He started up the car and drove off following the blip on the machine.

Elsewhere, Kenneth had been asked to go out to Las Vegas to investigate a company called S.K. Pharma. It seems many people have disappeared and they were all last seen around there. After everything he had been through, this seemed like a pretty normal, easy case. The one thing that interested him the most was that the person that asked him to go never gave a name and used some type of voice changer. He took the case and was now en route to Vegas via an airplane. He reached into his pocket and started looking at the piece of paper left for him on top of the sphinx, all it read was:
