My name is Ben, Ben Summers, but over the years, those close to me just decided to call me Lion. Why you may ask. Because I am the best at what I do, and what I do is get information that I want, and no one was better at getting what they wanted out of the enemy then me, and I loved it. They would tell me that I was fierce with the enemy, like a lion, that's where the name came from. What company did I work for you may ask, FBI, CIA, some other organization, that's a tough question to answer because I'm not sure myself, I just know I got hired, did what I was asked, got paid for it, and I felt pretty damn good about it. Then a few years ago, I was handed some information on a man named Alister Crowley, what we had was vague at best the only thing we had on him was that he was one of the top people in the world that needed to be put behind and kept behind bars or six feet under ground.
My superiors wanted me to find out more about this Crowley and stop him once and for all. This was a twist for me, normally my job was to just gather Intel and then let someone else go handle the messy stuff, so here I was, just turned thirty-seven and kinda excited to get to do both parts of the job this time, it was like a belated birthday gift at first. I went ahead and set out, the only small hint to a location for Crowley was the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas, it was a picture that showed a man profiled as Roberto James, another agent before being killed saw the two together and his last act was emailing the picture to us, so that is where I went. When I arrived I checked into the Hotel Mirage, then hit the streets looking for anything that didn't seem right, unfortunately this was Las Vegas and there were plenty of things on the street that didn't seem right, the question was where to start.
As time went one I started to get frustrated, that's when I finally spotted him, he was leaving the casino at the MGM grand and he was wasted, he could barely stand up, it was all too easy to grab him off the street. Before he knew what happened, I had him zip tied to a chair in my room. It took him a little while to wake up but when he did, oh boy did he freak out.
"What the hell man, what are you doing?" Roberto said starting to struggle.
"I want you to tell me just where I can find Alister, and everything you know about him."
"I don't know anything about him, I was only around him just one time man, that's it, that's the only time I saw him."
"For some reason, I don't believe you." Lion said stabbing a knife into Roberto's knee.
"Damn it man, I don't know anything." Roberto said screaming in pain.
"Why oh why are you lying to me Roberto." Lion said as he stabbed the knife into the other knee.
"Alright, alright, last I knew, he...he was in the Luxor, I think it was room...room 657."
"That's a good boy, now go to sleep."
I forced a drug down him that would have him out for hours until I could get back and figure out what do to with him. I made my way over to the Luxor; it was an amazing building, so well put together. I went inside and kindly asked the lovely assistant behind the counter, where I could find room 657. I made my way up the stairs to the correct floor; I started walking down the hallway when suddenly everything went black.
I don't have any idea how long I was out of it but I woke up to find I was tied down to a chair in some warehouse. I was looking around and saw the carcass of Roberto on the floor near me. Then in front of me there was a man standing there dressed in an all black suit, I couldn't make out a face. The voice sounded old, had to be someone in their seventies.
"Agent Lion, welcome to the end."
"Who are you?"
"My name isn't important, what's important is your future."
