The First And The Last- Elevenrose

The Doctor stumbled into the TARDIS and collapsed on the floor of the control room.

"I'm shutting down," the Doctor gasped "I need an interface. Voice interface. Come on, emergency!"

"Voice interface enabled." The holo-doctor said

"Oh no, no, no, no, no. Give me someone I like." The Doctor insisted, he was getting weaker by the second. A hologram of Rose Tyler appeared and the Doctor felt a surge of heartbreak and sadness run through him. How could he almost forget about her. She was everything to him.

He covered up his feelings by saying, "Oh, thanks. Give me guilt."

A hologram of Martha Jones appeared and the Doctor sighed. "Also guilt."

A hologram of Donna Noble appeared. "More guilt. Argh. Come on, there must be someone left in the universe I haven't screwed up yet." The Doctor growled.

The holo-Rose reappeared.

"What? No. How did I not mess her life up?"

"Doctor, I love you." the holo-Rose said.

"What?! You can't say that you're just an interface." The Doctor cried as tears ran down his cheeks.

The holo-Rose looked surprised, "But I love you."

"No, no, no, no. Stop it!" The Doctor screamed.

The holo-Rose's face was blank but she continued, "Doctor I never thought I'd be with you forever, I knew the day would come where I'd have to leave, or something would happen to me, so the TARDIS helped me mess with your interface, so the day you're seeing this, when you're in danger I want you to know something."

"What?" The Doctor asked his voice sad, and barely above a whisper.

"I love you Doctor. Always have. Always will."

The Doctor's voice broke "I love you too, Rose Tyler, my pink and yellow human."

"And Doctor, if you survive this, do me a favour and stay away from River Song."

What! How did she know about River?

The holo-Rose gave him a sad smile. "I'm here Doctor, and I've got to say, that bow tie is really working for you."

"Rose?" The Doctor asked weakly

"Doctor." She confirmed.

"What- what happened to the metacrisis?" He asked, and Rose's face fell.

"I'm sorry Rose, I'm sorry." He broke down into tears and whispered, "I love you."

Rose smiled, "Quite right too." She whispered quoting his tenth incarnation.
