Requested by @huskiepup5
This isn't exactly what you asked for but you definitely gave me the idea. If you still want me to write one closer to what you requested let me know I'd be happy to:)8Rose Tyler was one of those girls who kept a journal. Not a boring journal of her day to day life, but one full of secrets. No one besides her had ever read it. She kept it well hidden.
The Doctor had gone out for awhile. He didn't tell her exactly where, but she wasn't worried. He could take care of himself.
She grabbed her journal and headed to the kitchen to grab a tub of ice cream and a spoon. Rose smiled to herself, she didn't mind having the TARDIS to herself sometimes.
She easily wove her way through the maze of rooms and into the library. She sat down at her favourite spot and began to write.
The Doctor's gone out, I'm not sure where and honestly I'm not bothered. It gives me some time to myself in here. If he were here I wouldn't even risk writing in today. He might catch me and if he found out what I write about, well, I'm sure he would send me right back to Powell Estate. I wish it wasn't like this sometimes, sometimes I just wish he was human. No silly Timelord rules or whatever excuse he uses. I wonder if it could be different then. If he might see me as something more than a friend. I certainly do either way.
I don't know what it is about him, but I've felt as if I've had a connection to him, every since he first whispered "Run." I feel as though my life never really started until I met him. I realize we've never properly been together, but I think I might love him. It sounds selfish but I want it to just be us. No Timelord him, no Madame de Pompadour, just us.Rose jumped sky high as she heard footsteps down the hallway 'Oh damn.' She thought.
She quickly shut her diary and ran out of the library. She headed for her room. Oddly enough, the adrenaline was rushing through her. If he saw this, she would never see him again, and god she did not want that to happen.
Rose ran at top speed... straight into something soft, but strangely hard at the same time. She went flying onto the ground.
Rose opened her eyes to see the Doctor grinning down at her. "I was only gone for an hour, Rose. I missed you too. But really, there's no need to run into me." Rose's face paled. She was speechless as the Doctor's eyes flicked down to her diary, which was lying on the ground a couple feet from her. "What's that, Rose?" He asked narrowing his eyes.
Her eyes widened. "It's nothing." She answered quickly. The Doctor didn't looked convinced. He looked down the hallway she was running down, and looked to the door behind him - her bedroom. Rose winced as realization dawned on his face.
"Rose? Were you running from me?" He asked, the suspicion was clear in voice. Her silence told him all he needed to know. He reached out to grab her diary.
"No! Please Doctor, don't." She was too late.
The Doctor gave her a worried look. "Rose whatever's in here, I won't get mad, I promise. I just want to make sure you're safe." He opened the diary and began to read, his eyes widened as he read Rose Tyler's thoughts.
His hair is amazing, I'm not sure how it's possible to look so amazing, somehow he does it.
The Doctor is unlike any man I've fancied before, I don't know how to explain it but I just feel something more around him.
I think I might love him.
The Doctor's head shot up in shock as he finished reading. "I'm so sorry Doctor." Rose's voice was weak as she got up and quickly ran to her room.
"Rose, let me in." The Doctor knocked her door gently a few times before giving up and sulking off to his bedroom.
The next morning Rose decided she was leaving. Even if the Doctor wasn't going to send her home, she wasn't going to stay knowing things would never be the same. He probably wouldn't want to get to close to her now, knowing how she felt.
She began packing her things back up into her bags and quietly left her room, being careful not to alert the Doctor of her intentions.
Rose snuck down the halls headed towards the console room. She peaked her head in to see if he was in there. Her eyes caught sight of a pinstriped jacket hanging off the railing. He was in here. Rose let out a deep sigh and began to creep towards the door hiding behind the console when he looked around.
Finally she got to the door, she opened it and took a step outside. "Rose?" The Doctor looked alarmed as she turned around. She began to run. "Rose!" He was yelling, not mad but scared. The Doctor began to chase her towards Powell Estate.
Rose risked a look over her shoulder. He was gaining on her, and fast. She was getting out of breath as she ran up toward her mum's place. She got out her keys to unlock the door. The Doctor was only meters away from her.
As she was about to turn her keys the Doctor ran straight into her and pushed her up against the door, kissing her desperately. Rose was shocked at first and didn't respond until she realized what was happening. She began to kiss him back, her hands immediately going to his hair.
The Doctor pulled away sooner than she would have liked, breathless, he whispered. "I love you." Rose was speechless, all she could do was pull him in for another kiss.
"I love you too." She whispered as they pulled apart. The Doctor grinned and looked up. His smile faltered as he saw Jackie standing in the doorway, arms crossed. She cocked an eyebrow and he smiled sheepishly.
Perhaps the most shocking thing that happened that day was when Jackie smiled at him. A real genuine smile, and put a finger to her lips, closing the door silently.
"What is it, Doctor?" Rose asked following his gaze to the door.
He shrugged his shoulders. "Oh nothing," then, in a more serious tone. "You're not still leaving, are you?" He questioned, worried.
Rose shook her head. "Never." She looked up at him with a smile.
He grinned at her. "Never." He agreed. "Let's go, shall we?" Rose nodded as they headed back to the TARDIS.
There were no more secrets between them.
