The TARDIS landed smoothly for once. River was driving unfortunately. I would definitely be working on that.

I peeked my head out the doors. "Modern day London." I called back to her.

"Admit it, you're jealous." She teased.

I gave her a cheeky grin. "You were aiming for Apalapucia." I smiled to myself. I was very good at this. River rolled her eyes.

As we stepped out and started searching for trouble I noticed something odd. London seemed a bit different than what I remembered. "Does it look a bit different here to you?" I asked River. When I got no reply I looked over to see she was gone. Where did she go this time?

I swear that woman will be the death of herself. I stopped walking to take a look for her. I didn't have to look for long, as soon as I turned around I saw her. "Oh hello!" I smiled.

She didn't answer. Not that I expected her to. Some people in black ski masks and outfits had grabbed her. One of them covering her mouth with their hand. "I'm the Doctor." I continued to smile at them.

They begun whispering amongst themselves. Finally one of them spoke up. "We're taking you back to base." I nodded. They didn't really seem that dangerous. No guns so far.

One of them grabbed my arm and pushed me along with the group.  "You're not the Doctor." An angry feminine voice came out of the ski mask. Something about that voice, it was familiar. I didn't reply. She didn't seem like the type to start a fight with.

"Who do you work for?" I asked. I was wondering who it was that wanted me, my wife, and my TARDIS.

"Torchwood." A man's voice called out.

Torchwood. I had dealt with them before. Most likely they wanted something from me. Most likely I wasn't going to give it to them. Certainly not now. Years ago they had done something terrible, something I was not going to forgive that easily.

I looked around the 'base' and cleared my throat. "Has it shrunk?" I wondered aloud. A few officers walking past gave me strange looks which I ignored, I tend to get that a lot.

We began to ascend the few flights of stairs that there were. Honestly what had happened to this place? I was pushed to the end of the third floor hallway.

"In we go." Another female voice spoke - this time unfamiliar. Through the doorway River and I were thrust into lay a surprisingly roomy office cluttered with all sorts of junk, reminding me of my own room back in the TARDIS.

We faced a man in a chair behind the desk, most likely the boss. His face was very familiar. He extended a hand "Hi, Captain J-"

"Jack!" I cut him off suddenly recognizing him.

His face scrunched up in confusion. "Do I know you?" He asked.

"I'm the Doctor." I reminded him. "I got a new face."

He looked at me oddly but didn't say anything. River decided to join the conversation. "River Song," she introduced herself. "I'll take that handshake if you don't mind." She winked at him as they shook hands. I stood there opened-mouthed watching and doing all I could not to start spluttering.

"Well would you mind telling me why you brought my wife and I here?" I questioned him.

Jack looked at me for a moment through squinted eyes. "Wolf!" He called. A black clad figure from earlier stepped into the office.
