As I turned around, I found myself at swordpoint by an orange-haired man wearing black clothes. Normally, I would be making this bastard regret pointing a sword at me, but this person had several other people with him. All of them were aiming weapons at us, including at Hestia. So I had to make sure not to anger them until I knew that she was safe. I'd rather not have her get hurt.
So, once the group surrounded us, I used magic to mark them without them noticing. As they glared at us, the orange-haired man walked around me with a condensing gat. I then took notice that his hair was more brown than orange. It was then that I saw the pin he had on his chest. A pin that had a Sun and Bow depicted.
It was the Apollo Familia.
And for some reason, they had targeted either the Hestia Familia or me.
Either way, they were here for something. And it was nothing good.
.
"Finally," the man with brown hair said, smiling gleefully. "I finally found you. The man who stole from the Greatest God of all, Lord Apollo." The man accused as he looked at me. "You have some nerve to flaunt what you stole in broad daylight."
"Hyakinthos Clio," Lilie whispered as she recognized the man in front of us.
"At least one recognizes greatness when they see it," Clio said with an air of arrogance. "To think that someone as low as you would steal from Lord Apollo. But that's why I'm here, to take back what you stole and maybe spare your miserable life." He said, pointing his sword at my neck.
"May I ask, what did I steal?" I asked calmly, while manipulating my mana to become chains to bind them.
"You've been using it, you insolent cur!" Clio shouted, pointing his free hand at my transmutation tablet. "Lord Apollo was kind enough to bless us with that, and you stole it!"
"Where is your proof? Other than your word and Apollo's?" I asked as he seemed to seethe. It seemed his entire argument hinged on the fact that I wouldn't control the pacing of the accusation. So this was throwing him off.
"YOU DARE CALL ME A LIAR?!" He shouted at the top of his lungs. "YOU DARE CALL LORD APOLLO A LIAR?!"
"Yes," I said as I activated my magic, "I am."
.
My magic exploded out from the ground in blinding white chains made from mana. Faster than they could react, all six of them were bound up, and they dropped their weapons. I, even though I hid it well, was pissed at how they accused me of theft. Theft was one of the things that I would never stoop low enough to do without good reason. But the way that they accused me, it seemed like they were planning to steal it. Add to the fact that they waited until night to try to take it, and it seems like they had planned all this.
While I was trying to figure out the 'why', Lillie was going around grabbing the dropped weapons and checking them for any hidden ones. Bell was checking on Hestia, who was caught off guard and fell on her ass. And Welf was making sure they didn't have any backup nearby. While they were doing what they needed to do, I walked over and looked at the leader of this group, Cilo, and looked him in the eye.
.
"Who sent you?" I demanded as I tightened the magic chains around him.
"Screw you, you cur!" He shouted and tried to break free. "Release me, and I'll make your death swift!"
"Who. Sent. You?" I demanded again, punctuating each word with a slap.
"Bastard!" He shouted as his face turned red with rage.
