|29.| Promises- Isogai Yūma X Reader

~Flashback to when you were around 5 years old~

"Yu-chan!! Yu-chan!" You called to Isogai while playing 'Tag'.

You were chasing him since you were the catcher and he was laughing seeing how far you were from him, unable to catch him.

"H-Hey!! Slow down Yu-chan!" You said and tripped on a rock, "Oof!!"

"(F/N)-chan!" Isogai said and ran to you.

You were crying, holding your knee since it got scraped from the fall.

"A-Are you okay?" Isogai asked and bent down.

"Wahhh!! Mommy!!" You continued crying and there was blood coming out from your knee. You put your hand to your knee, trying to wipe the blood off, when Isogai stopped you.

"Don't do that!" He said, "Your hands are dirty and more germs will go in your body and you'll get sick!"

He carried you, giving you a piggy back ride which stopped you from crying.

"I'll bring you to your mommy, so stop crying." He said, "Also, I'm sorry for running to fast."

"I-It's okay." You sniffed.

You were resting on Isogai's shoulder and closing your eyes while he was walking.

It was late noon now, the sun was setting, giving an orangey color to everything and a somewhat feeling that you don't want to go home and keep on resting on his shoulder, not wanting the moment to end.

You could smell his shampoo, mixed with the scent of sweat which made you smile.

You opened your eyes and glanced over to Isogai, seeing his face with sweat.

"Hey," You said.

"Hm?" He said.

"Am I heavy?" You asked.

"Yep." He replied, "But it's okay. Even if you're heavy, I don't mind carrying you, I'd carry you around the world if I have to!!"

"Why is that?" You asked, tilting your head a bit.

"Well, that's because I love you of course!!" He said.

The following morning, you went to Isogai's place with tears in your eyes and 3 flowers in your hand.

"What's wrong (F/N)-chan?" Isogai asked.

"I-I'm going *sniff* far away from here!!" You cried.

"W-What? W-Where?" He asked.

"I-In America.. *sniff* Daddy found a new job there..*sniff* So we're moving.. Wahhh!!" You hugged him, wetting his shoulder and leaving some snot on his shirt.

He hugged you back and was holding his tears because he was a boy, "I-It's okay!!" He spoke up and tried to make his voice as cheery as possible.

"Huh? Why?" You asked.

"We'll meet again right?" He asked.

You smiled, "Yup!! And we'll play again together with Hiro-tan!!"
