"Yay, lunch break!" You cheered as you and Ren walked to the school canteen.

"How was the quiz for you, (L/N)?"

You placed your hands behind your back, "Well, it was okay, I guess..."

"Confident for a perfect score?" Ren chuckled.

You half-smiled, "No. I kinda rushed my essay so there would be mistakes."

Upon entering the canteen, Gakushuu and the other three were already seated by a table eating their lunches.

You waved them a 'hey', the rest but Gakushuu responded. He simply took a bite of his lunch.

You and Ren walked towards the counter. He followed you from behind as you were choosing your food.

"What will you get today, Ren?" Youu asked, looking through the glass barrier that displayed lots of bread.

"I'm eating curry rice today," He replied and held out a small piece of paper, "I bought a ticket earlier."

"I'm kinda broke this month," You said as the line moved forward and it aas your turn to pay, "so I'll just eat yakisoba."

You handed your money to the lady and she gave you your bread. Afterwards, you stepped aside to wait for Ren.

He received his food and the two of you walked towards the table where Gakushuu and the rest were seated.

Taking a seat infront of Gakushuu, you opened the wrapper and took a bite. You offered some bread to Ren, who was seated to your left, but he politely declined.

Before you could take another bite, a boy timidly approached you, "U-Um... (L/N)-san, the chairman wants to see you..."

You blinked, "Now?"

"Y-Yes."

"Okay," You placed your bread down and stood up, "Excuse me."

You walked with the timid boy out of the canteen.

Seo rested his head on his hand on the table, "A confession?"

"That's pretty low." Araki said, "Using the chairman as an excuse to get them to be alone."

Upon hearing that, Gakushuu stood up, earning looks from the people. He cleared his throat and grabbed his tray, "Excuse me."

Ren smirked as he watched Gakushuu's figure walk to the counter, "Jealous?"

After returning the tray, Gakushuu walked out of the canteen.

"Is he going to follow them?" Seo blinked.

Araki stood up, "Might as well join in."

You stopped infront of the office of the chairman. The timid boy quickly turned away, "S-See you."

You knocked and opened the door, "Good afternoon, Mr. Asano."

You walked towards his desk. His chair was turned to the window.

"You wanted to see me, sir?" You asked and stopped a few paces infront of his desk.

"Ah, yes, (L/N)-san." He said.

You gulped and stood up straight.

Asano turned his chair and rested his arms on his desk. A sly smile painted on his face, "You have been interacting with my son too much."

"Is there a problem?" You asked, "Sir?"

His smiled was replaced with a frown and rested his chin on his hands, "Yes. His focus in his studies are affected."

Your heart beated faster. By the way things were going, you were certain he had something in plan for you.

"And I cannot afford that." Asano said, "But don't worry, putting you in Class E would waste your talent and intelligence."

You sweated in your position, bracing yourself for what the chairman would say. It wasn't your fault Gakushuu doesn't focus the way he used to... right?

"A week suspension and you shall be moved to Class C."

Dude.

Your eyes widened and your mouth was left agape.

The door flew open and you heard footsteps approaching you, "I refuse this."

Gakushuu was standing beside you. You looked back at the door and saw the others peeking in.

"Mr. Chairman," Gakushuu spoke, "My deepest apologies for my recent attitude towards my studies."

"Asano-kun." The chairman coughed.

"Now, sir. This punishment for (L/N)-san is unacceptable," Gakushuu said, "It was my actions, not hers. She has done nothing at all."

He grabbed your arm and said, "Nothing but became my love interest."

You held in a laugh and looked up at him, smiling.

"Excuse us." Gakushuu said and led you out of the room, only to be greeted with 4 grinning faces.

im so sorry, i've been very busy with school and i kinda lost the inspiration an motivation to write. so only one one shot for now.

hopefully, i'll update my 'tatoeba' and my Haikyuu one shot book tomorrow. :)
