"(L/N)-chan go out with me!!" Maehara exclaimed.

"No." You replied and left.

"Go out with me, pleaaase."

"No.

"(L/N)-chan.." Maehara said in a serious tone.

"What?" You scoffed.

"Let's go out~"

"No!"

It had always been like that. Maehara will ask you out and you'll refuse. You knew he'd leave you like what he did to all the girls he'd dated so no matter how much he'd ask you, you'd say no even if you had a tiiiinyy crush on him.

"Maehara keeps on asking you out huh?" Okano asked while eating.

"Yeah, and I wish he'd stop." You rolled your eyes.

"Hmmm. I think you look cute together though." She said.

"Wha- No!!!" You blushed, "No we don't!!"

"Whatever you say~" She laughed.

"H-Hurry up so we can go back inside." You said.

You went back to the classroom and saw flowers on your desk. You lifted an eyebrow and approached your desk.

You saw a card inserted and read it, 'Go out with me?' You sighed and looked over to Maehara.

Maehara gave you a cheeky smile. You sighed and shook your head, "No. Thanks for the flowers though."

You were going home with the flowers Maehara gave you, "D'awww. That's so sweet." Okano said.

"Yeah. But no." You said.

"Don't you appreciate his efforts?" She asked.

"I do," You said, "but even if I did say yes, he's going to dump me and break my heart." You frowned.

"I think he's serious though." Okano said, "I mean, he's never been this persistent to anyone but you."

"Really.." Your voice trailed off.

"Yep!! Well, byeee!" She waved.

"Bye." You waved back.

"(L/N)-chaaan!! Good morning!!" An annoying voice said.

"Good morning Maehara." You said.

"Did you like the flowers?" He asked.

"Yeah."

His eyes lit up, "Then that means-"

"No. I told you yesterday right?" You said.

"Aww. But why?" He asked.

"Because I don't have any intention of dating." You replied.

"Hm~" Maehara hummed, "Hey!! Isn't it your birthday tomorrow??"

"What, oh, yeah, it is." You replied.
