"Hey (L/N)-chan..." Maehara said.

He had his hands cupped on his cheeks staring at the ceiling of the classroom while you were playing video games on your PSP.

"Yeaaaahhh?" You asked while slightly rocking on your chair.

"You know I like you right?" He said, "A lot actually."

"Yes." You said, "What about it?"

"And you like me?"

"No. What about it?"

"And after all the things-"

"Get to the point."

"Y'know the red string of fate right?" He asked.

"Yes. Why do you ask?" You replied.

"I know you like me, but you just are too shy too admit-"

"Oi."

"-Aaand I like you back. That means the red string of fate brought us together. I mean, aren't we together at the moment." He said.

"I know we're neighbors and all but I don't know why you have to wait for me every single day."

He let out a laugh and checked his phone for the time, "Shouldn't that be obvious? We should be going now. It's almost 5."

"GAME OVER!" Your PSP stated.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!" You exclaimed and wrapped your hands around your head. You blushed seeing Maehara stare at you, "Er.......... Darn....?" You packed the PSP in your bag and stood up, "Okay. Let's go. But first there's this game I want to check."

You arrived in front of the game shop next to a bookstore with Maehara. You looked at the posters posted on the glass doors and surprisingly, the game you wanted was on a discount.

Your eyes sparkled upon seeing it. Maehara let out a soft chuckle, "I'll go check out something at the bookstore. See you here."

"Ya. Bye." You said and rushed inside.

You ran to the isle where it was found and grabbed it. You held it up high as if you were reenacting the scene of Lion King but add more sparkles.

After rejoicing, you went to the counter to pay for the game.

"That'd be, uh, $50." (Go convert that into yen. :p) The cashier said.

Your face was pale and you were sweating with your happy face still on. You only had $40 dollars with you.

"C-Can I ask of you to lower the price just a teeeeeny bit?" You asked while still smiling.

"Ma'am, this game is already on a discount." He replied.

"Awww. Why not? Just this once." You insisted.

"I'm afraid I can't do that ma'am."

Then you chuckled and placed your elbow on the counter and lifted your head up, revealing a gangster look on your face causing the cashier to flinch.
