The walk to school was quiet, having a lot of awkward tension. Kate had walked in on Jack in the bathroom the other day and Jack was anything but happy and... It didn't exactly end well for either of us.

Luckily Kate and I have matching skin tones and she owns foundation.

"You better not get all jealous around Alfie, your gonna get yourself beaten up, and it might not be by him." Jack said, glaring at me.

'I'm used to it...' I almost said, but managed to prevent the words from escaping my lips.

Walking into school, I noticed Zoe with a large smile on her face, which was odd considering she rushed off ester day. Id expect her and Alfie to have broken up, not for her to come into school today with the largest smile I've seen on her in a long time.

"Hey guys," Kate said with a small fake smile, walking up to her and Louise. I noticed Troye and Caspar were no where to be seen so I'm guessing the discussion currently taking place is about Alfue.

"You'll never believe what Alfie made Zoe do last night." Louise giggled and all sorts of bad thoughts came to my mind.

Zoe's too innocent to do anything serious, in fact I was surprised when she accepted the date with Alfie.

I rolled my eyes and discretely began to walk away but of course Zoe managed to catch me before she started telling her Oh So Magnificent story about what she did with Alfie.

"Finn? What's up?" She furrowed her eyebrows at me and by now everyone was looking at me.

"I, uh, really don't feel well and thought I'd go to the library for a bit to calm down." I mumbled, rubbing my forehead and making a pained expression.

She sighed and said, "Are you sure you don't want us to come?"

I shook my head before quickly wandering off before Jack had a chance to sink his claws into the situation.

"Alfie!" Great. Marcus and Alfie directly ahead of me and no where to turn without crawling back to hear Zoe's story of her 'splendid' night with Alfie.

"I know it was you. Don't even deny it." Marcus said, shoving Alfie up against the wall.

Alfie just laughed and made an attempt at pushing Marcus away whilst saying, "What are you gonna do? Beat me up? Go on, hit me, I dare you." Alfie seemed fearless when it came to Marcus. It was strange watching a fight, considering I always tried to stay out with them, and this fight is definatley a lot different to my fights with Jack.

If that was me and Jack, id be on the ground only half conscious and he'd be washing the blood off his hands in the bathroom.

One day they'll see the truth...

I didn't actually expect to see Marcus throw his fist across Alfie face but the sound of the punch made me flinch.

Alfie returned the favour, resulting in both boys quickly gaining bruises and quickly starting to bleed. I froze in my spot and let out a small squeal from fright.

Alfie stopped in shock before looking at me and quickly trying to calm me down, although I don't understand why... I was fine wasn't I?

I couldn't quite hear what he was saying but I could see him frantically true to wave his hand in front of my face and it seemed like he was shouting...

But that wouldn't make sense? His voice is hardly a whisper...

I noticed Zoe rushing down the path towards me and felt a smile appear on my face, only for it to then fall when I saw Alfie wrap an arm around her. Zoe seemed to be yelling as well, and yet her voice was nothing more than a whisper.

"Finn! What's going on! Are you okay? Sit down. Do you need some water?" Then I heard a loud gasp before hearing Zoe scream "Finn!!!" And that was the last thing I heard before a ringing took over my ears and my sight went black, pain over taking my head as it clashes with the ground.

Idk if it was clear what happened in this chapter but hopefully things will be explained a bit more in the next chapter...

Ugh I hate school, I literally almost had a mental break down on the first day, you don't understand
