"Hey, are you okay?" Alfie said, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead to which I replied to with a smile and a nod. He pulled away from me before talking my hand and walking towards Louise with me.

"Zoe!" She yell, pulling me into a hug before mumbling to me, "Are you sure you're okay?"

I had texted Louise about what had happened, and she was only so worried because things have gotten a lot worse in the past and she didn't want something like it to happened again. I nodded at her before returning back to where I was, linking hands with Alfie.

There was a short awkward pause, and so I quickly filled in the silence by saying loudly, "So, what did I miss?"

Louise looked down awkwardly whilst Alfie looked as though he was genuinely trying hard to think. After a few seconds, Louise spoke up, "Jack and Finn weren't in... And Kate um..."

Louise looked at Alfie as though she was asking for his help but he just coughed and looked away. I have Louise a confused look and said, "Kate what?"

"Well she wasn't talking all day... And Troye noticed that under her makeup... Her eye may or may not have seemed bruised..." Louise seemed really awkward and was continuously fidgeting as she spoke.

"How did she not talk all day? And what do you mean 'may or may not'?" I said at a fast pace, desperately looking for answers.

"Zo, just calm down, whatever's happened, Kate's fine." Alfie said, pulling me into a hug inorder to shut up me.

Well...

It did work...

A few second later, before our conversation could continue, the bell rang and Louise was running away desperately.

"Zoe!" I heard voice calling behind me as I was walking out of my second lesson of the day, although it felt as though it was the fifth.

When I turned around, I found a breathless Tanya chasing after me, which confused me slightly.

"I need to talk to you..." She paused before quickly adding, "and Alfie."

"What's up?" I said, stopping in my tracks.

"Well, considering my birthdays in around 3 weeks, I'm having a thing at my house, quite a few people will be there, and I guess it would be cool if you guys could come." She was smiling at me and I was slightly confused.

Why would Tanya Burr invite me to a party?

"Um, are you sure? I'm not exactly the type to go to parties." I laughed, Slough her expression remained the same and I had to say yes.

"Great! I need to buy a new outfit and new jewellery! Maybe we could go shopping together! I think a black dress would suit you! OMG and I can do your makeup!" Tanya squealed, taking hold of my hand and beginning to walk with me.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but if your looking for someone to be girly and bubbly with, it's not me honey." I chuckled in a strange tone which made even me furrow my eyebrows.

"Trust me babes, after a day out with me, that will all change!" She said laughing.

"Well, it's nice to see you too bonding." Turning around, we'd noticed Alfie had finally found us, considering we had been stood in the same place the entire time. "What's going on?"

"I'm taking Zoe shopping!" Tanya almost yelled, in a manner which was defiantly too excited.

Alfie gave me a confused look to which I just replied to by smiling at him and saying, "Tanya invited us to her..." I paused, unsure of what word to use but I finally turned to her and said oddly, "party?"

She nodded and Alfie just smiled, "Sure, why not."

As Alfie was about to continue, I spotted an all too familiar face rushing off behind him. "Gotta go" I barely breathed out before running after her.

"Kate!" I called, which made her quickly come to a halt. "Kate!" I repeated, finally catching not up to her. "What's up, you weren't in maths." I said, giving her a concerned look.

She gave me a sad expression before looking down and hiding her face. I could sense her shaking her head by the fact j could see her hair moving from side to side.

I took a breath before saying, "I get if you don't want to talk about it here if it's hard for you but... Um... Look how about tomorrow you come round mine, sleepover maybe? We can talk about it."

She looked up at me and seemed almost scared. "P-promise you won't tell anyone?"

"I promise" i smiled

Next chapters gonna get realllll good :))))))

You guys should actually e really excited because I am

Anyhow, this book is nearly done :(

On the bright side, there's gonna be a sequel :D
