Zoe
"How can you not like strawberries!" I stared in shock whilst laughing as Alfie scrunched up his nose.
"The texture grosses me out and they just... Ew." He said, giggling in a weird way. I didn't protest on the matter and he smiled content my before taking one of the sandwiches I made and took a bite before smiling at me.
I finished the last of the strawberries before putting a few things back and leaning into Alfie's shoulder, waiting for him to finish.
"So, is this the amazing day you planned? A picnic in the middle of nowhere?" Alfie laughed, poking my nose.
"There's more." I smiled, my tone going slightly higher pitched than usual. "Just you wait." I giggled. I saw him roll his eyes in a joking manner, making me laugh and he was quick to finish his food before intertwining his hand with mine.
"So, what, are we just going to sit here and stare at the sky?" Alfie said sarcastically after a few minutes of silence.
I remained silent and only looked at him with a small smirk. "Actually that's exactly what we're doing." He gave me a confused look and I sighed, looking up at the tree above us. "Alfie, living your life you don't take a minute to notice the world around us. The sun, the clouds, the leaves, the fresh air, just have a minute to take it all in."
I smiled contently, looking up at the sky, and could sense Alfie's smile and feel him staring at me.
We laid in silence for around ten minutes before I stood up, taking Alfie's hand and helping him up. "Okay, let's go." I giggled as he almost fell getting up and he frowned slightly. "Do we have to walk again?"
I laughed and nodded, making his face scrunch up. He entwined our hands as we walked back and I could hear him sigh within five minutes into our journey.

-"So, all that walking to end up at your house anyway?" Alfie said, making an adorable yet awkward expression. I giggled and bopped his nose.
"Hey, this is my day. I didn't complain about jumping from a window with you so you won't complain about walking down a few streets." Alfie rolled his eyes but I just took his hand and led him upstairs.
"Mum, Alfie and I are going to be upstairs." I said, putting my things down just at the top of the stairs.
"Leave your door open, I'll be checking up on you." My mum said cheekily and I could see her wink slightly which only made me cringe. No.
"So, nice room." Alfie said awkwardly as he looked around. I knew he was just being polite considering how bland my room is. My walls are a bling cream colour and I was my name on the wall in a cute font, with a small book shelf next to it, then I have my bed and desk but that's really it. Then again, I do have a lot of cushions which I guess adds the colour to it.
"Okay, so , just to prove to you, Deyes, that I can actually have fun, we're gonna do something I enjoy." I paused slightly before furrowing my eyebrows and quickly saying, "And no it doesn't involve the bed."
Alfie laughed at my words before sitting down on my bed and looking up at me with a grin. "So, what is this amazing idea Zoe?" He said, taking another look around my room before grabbing one of the cushions and resting it in his lap.
I walked over to my desk, taking out an Instant Camera that was actually pretty new. I handed it to Alfie before going to the bottom of my wardrobe.
"We're going to take photos?" Alfie said, giving me a questioning look to which I rolled my eyes at.
I took a box out of the bottom f my wardrobe, taking out a few accessories, handing the beanie over to him. "No, we're going to dress up and actually have fun. Put this on and... Go look in Joes wardrobe, I'm sure he has something in your size." I giggled as I watched Alfie stand up reluctantly and walk to my brothers room. In the meantime, I pulled out a white shirt with a small pattern on it along with some black leggings, and chose a tutu out of my box to put on over the leggings just to add a little touch.
After that I chose to tie my hair into a bun and put a flower crown on, smiling at the way I looked. It wasn't long after I was ready that I head a slight knock on the door and saw Alfie walk in. He had chosen one of Joes sweaters which actually looked pretty cute on Alfie despite the fact it looked ridiculous on Joe.
Alfie also had the beanie half hanging off his head which made me laugh and I helped him pull it on which seemed to make him smile.
"Smile." I giggled, picking the camera up and pointing it at him. At first he did nothing but cover his face, which I still for some reason took a picture of anyway as he still managed to look cute, but after pulling his hands away, I noticed him actually smiling and managed to capture a shot. With two picture already taken, Alfie decided to only take one more then switch to taking photos of me.
Right as I was about to snap another picture of Alfie laughing, something caught his attention, causing him to look up. I furrowed my eyebrows, not actually sure whether the photo would turn out right or not.
When the photo came out, Alfie was looking up out of the frame and he wasn't exactly smiling and yet I still couldn't take my eyes off the photo. I felt Alfie come up behind me and he frowned as he said, "That's horrible, throw that one away."
I laughed and slipped in onto my desk, "I like it." Alfie rolled his eyes before snatching the camera off me, "Your turn!"
I rolled my eyes before going towards my wall near the window, for good lighting, and looked down trying to hide my face, not expecting Alfie to actually take a photo. When I heard the click of the camera, I looked up confused at Alfie, who was just waiting for the photo to turn clear.
When it did, I saw him smile and furrowed my eyebrows looking at the photo. "I like it." Alfie smiled, looking at me.
I smiled looking up at him, before gently pecking his cheek and saying, "I like it too."
And so we spent he rest of the evening taking silly photos and either laughing at or admiring the results.
