"So... did you do it?"
Levy asked the question for what felt like the fifth time that week.
The two of them were the only ones left in the classroom. Their classmates had already headed to the gym to watch the friendly basketball game between Sabertooth and Fairy Tail.
Lucy slowly shook her head.
Levy sighed.
"I thought you said you were going to apologize before the end of the week. It's already Friday."
With a groan, Lucy let her forehead fall onto her desk.
"No need to remind me, Lev."
Her voice came out muffled against the wood.
"I always chicken out at the last minute."
Levy shrugged sympathetically.
"Well, apologizing is never easy. I understand why you're hesitating."
Lucy let out another dramatic groan.
"My dad isn't exactly pressuring me..."
She lifted her head just enough to look at Levy.
"But every time he looks at me, it's like he's silently asking, 'Have you done it yet?'"
Levy winced.
"That bad, huh?"
Lucy nodded.
"I really want to talk to Yukino."
She sighed.
"I just don't know how to start."
Levy grinned.
"Well... you could always start with 'Hi.'"
Lucy shot her a flat look.
"Not funny."
Levy only giggled.
"If you're that worried about talking to Yukino, I can always come with you."
Lucy turned toward the doorway.
"Great idea," Sting said with a grin as he walked inside. "Except I'll be the one going with you."
Lucy blinked.
"Perfect. That'll just give her another person to watch while she slams the door in my face."
Levy and Sting laughed.
Lucy narrowed her eyes at them.
"And why are you standing there eavesdropping?"
Sting shrugged innocently.
"School's over, isn't it?"
He adjusted the strap of his bag.
"We always walk home together."
Lucy frowned.
"I thought you were playing basketball with Natsu and the others."
Sting shrugged again.
"I figured this was more important."
A teasing smile crossed his face.
"Besides, I wasn't really in the mood to play."
Levy raised an eyebrow.
"I thought Natsu said there was a bet."
"There is," Levy added. "Gajeel said the losing team has to wear a girl's T-shirt during the next gym class."
