It's 7:30 in the morning and two youngsters were awoken by the sound of their alarms, but their approach are quite the opposite.

At Lucy's House

"Rrrring"

Lucy opens her eyes upon hearing the alarm. She slowly sat up and tries to wipe the traces of sleep. She made a few arm stretches as she got up.

"Hmm morning again. I hope this day would be as lovely as yesterday. Anyway, everyday is a lovely day for me as long as I see him." she says while giggling.

"Hmm... I wonder if he's awake now." She walks towards her windows and tries to take a look at her neighbour's house.

"Seems like he's still sleeping. If that's the case, I'll better get ready so I can personally wake him up."

Lucy then start her morning routine: take a bath, dress up, fix her hair, and kiss Gray's picture found on her bedside table. She hums as she went downstairs to eat her breakfast. She saw her dad reading the newspaper while sipping his coffee.

"Morning dad!" she says as she kissed Jude Heartfilia on the cheek.

"Someone's in a good mood today." Jude said as he eyed her daughter while sipping her coffee.

"I'm always cheerful, dad. I just love mornings." she says smiling.

"Oh, really! I wonder why? Hmm...let me guess...it might something to do with this boy who lives across our street?"

"Ahmm...I duno vat or talking bout." Lucy answers as he chews her food.

"Does Gray Fullbuster ring a bell?" amusement evident in his voice.

She blushed, as she swallowed the food. "Oh come on, dad. That's so last season. I'm soo over him."

"You always say that. But still you follow the poor bloke wherever he goes."

"Hey! You make it sound like I'm kind of a stalker or something. And besides I'm not into him anymore. I moved on." She says proudly.

"Lady Lucy, I packed your lunch and Gray's as well like you ordered." Virgo says, oblivious of Jude's and Lucy's conversation. Lucy just slap her forehead.

"Thanks Virgo." she says sarcastically.

"My pleasure Lady Lucy. I hope you enjoy your lunch with sir Gray." she bowed then left them.

Jude can't suppress the laughter he was holding. "And you were saying, dear?"

"Oh shut up, dad."

Jude laughs at her daughter's answer, but then turns serious. "Look dear. I'm not against you liking this boy but I'm just saying..."

She cuts him off by saying, "I know, I know...that I should wait for him to make the first move rather than me advancing."

"Exactly! So why can't you do that?"

"Dad, it's the new age now. Women can do what men can do. And besides...like I told you before, I'm over him."

"Whatever you say, dear. Although your actions speak differently."

"Oh, look at the time." Lucy said, trying to avoid the long discussion. "I better get going before I miss Gr..the bus." she says hurriedly and started to run through the door.

"Lucy!!!"

She sighed and abruptly returned inside the house.

"Yes dad?"

"Your lunch."

She slaps her forehead. "Silly me. Thanks dad. Bye." She kissed her dad and went outside. She could still hear him shouting and saying to 'take care' and 'try to restrain herself'. She just rolled her eyes and then smiled as she walks towards Gray front door.
