Luke's pov.
I sat down a chicken alfredo TV dinner for alex and waited for her to come downstairs. Alex forgot to pick anything up from the store, so we only had enough for one person. Everything else, I either didn't like or it was old and freezer-burned.
I've barely eaten anything in the last three days, and it's not because I chose not to, it's just because I'm so busy all of a sudden.
I smiled when alex came into the kitchen, and sat down. "Hey." She said, and sat down, beginning to eat. We haven't just talked in a while, so I sat beside her, and laid my head down. I frowned a little when I saw she was just concentrated on her phone.
"I don't feel good." I whispered, hoping that got her attention. "You look sick." She said, glancing over at me for a split second. "Can we go cuddle?" I asked, and she sighed. "Luke I'm busy right now. Can you go throw my sweatshirt in the washer for me?" She asked, so I stood up, and nodded.
"I think I'm gonna go to the grocery store later-"
"Oh before you do that, could you maybe pick up our bedroom a little. It's getting kinda messy." She said, so I nodded.
"Sure thing." I said, and kissed her cheeks. I ran up the stairs to get her sweatshirt. My lips felt kind of tingly, and I could feel sweat forming on my hair line. My stomach ached, but I ignored it, taking Alex's sweatshirt to the washer.
I put the wet clothes into the drier, and noticed the dryer sheets were on the top shelf. Even though I was over six feet, it was still hard for me to reach. I jumped up, and tried to grab them, but I didn't. I jumped again, but didn't grab a hold of them. The last time I jumped, I felt my head start spinning, and my vision began going out. At this point sweat was falling down my face.
"Alex!" I yelled, and felt my body come in contact with the ground.

"It took you two hours to realize he was missing?!" Calum's voice said, and I opened my eyes a little, and saw I was facing the back of the couch.
"Did you not notice how sick he looks?!" Calum asked, and she sighed. "He told me he wasn't feeling good."
"Yeah, probably because he's barely eaten anything." Michael said, and I felt him pick my arm up, so I closed my eyes again.
"Why didn't he eat anything?" Alex asked, and everyone was quiet. I turned around, and they all looked as I sat up.
I felt dizzy again so I just laid back down.
"Luke? What happened?" Alex asked, and I shook my head, rubbing my eyes.
"Can we have a minute?" She asked the three guys, and they all nodded, leaving the room.
"Luke? Why haven't you been eating?" She asked, and sat criss cross in front of the couch to be eye level with me.
"Alex this is too far." I whispered, and she tilted her head. "I think we need to take a break." I said, and she shook her head. "Luke? What are you talking about?!"
"It's not that I didn't want to eat, I was honestly starving, but I always put you before myself, and that's not always a bad thing, but it was this time. I was too caught up in taking care of you that I forgot to take care of myself. I knew I needed to eat, but I gave you the rest of whatever we had so you wouldn't end up in my place. Instead of taking care of myself, I was doing your laundry so you would stay warm tomorrow, or helping you with college classes so you could get the job you want, or cooking for you so you would be okay. I feel like you've stopped caring for me, but I try my hardest to make you happy. You see, it's okay if I take care of you more than I take care of myself, as long as you're there to take care of me in return. Alex, I need you, okay? I love you, but I have to think of myself this time." I said, and wiped my face.
"Luke, p-please don't.." She whispered.
"They said it took you two hours to realize I was gone! Two hours alex!" I cried frustratedly.
She crawled onto the couch with me, and laid on top of me. She wiped my face, and kissed my tears away.
"Luke I never meant for this to happen." She said, and pressed her forehead onto mine.
"I need you." I whispered, and she nodded. "I know. I'm sorry. Just let me have another chance. I'm so sorry."
"I love you, Luke." She whispered, holding me tightly.
"I love you, too."
