Luke's pov.

"We swore we'd never do this to each other! We both know how it feels to be cheated on, and we swore we'd never put each other through that!" I yelled with tears falling freely down my face.

"Luke I wasn't thinking! I don't know why I did it, I'm sorry." She cried, and rushed over to hug me. She held onto me tightly, but I didn't hug back.

"I love you so much. I didn't want this to happen." I said, and wiped my face. She backed up and wiped her eyes. "Luke I'm so sorry." She whispered, and I leaned forward wiping the makeup from under her eyes.

I looked over at the clock and saw it was 2:00 am.

"I'm gonna go to sleep. I'll take the guest room-"

"Luke no." She said, and I wiped my face, and looked back at her. "What?" I asked, and she crossed her arms. "Come sleep with me." She said, and I laughed a little.

"You see, I would, but it looks like someone's already done that for me." I said, wiping my eyes one last time.

-

She told me she'd never do it.

She swore to me.

She promised.

I sat against the edge of the bed and pulled at my hair, finding it extremely hard to breathe.

I don't want to leave her, but it feels like she's already left me. I've never had someone make me feel so loved. I've never been happier with anyone.

This is partly my fault though. She's been telling me she wants to spend more time with me, and she always told me how she felt lonely even when I'm there. I should've payed more attention. I should have loved her with everything I have in me. She always gave me her 100%, and I would maybe give her 50.

But she didn't have to cheat on me.

It was past four in the morning, but I couldn't sleep. Not when I was in a state like this.

I got up and walked to the door. I walked down the hallway until I made it to our shared bedroom. I was about to open the door but I heard something on the inside.

Nothing broke my heart more than hearing the one girl I love crying.

I opened the door, and saw her sitting in the middle of the bed with her head in her hands.

"Luke I didn't mean to hurt you." She cried once she saw me. "It's just- you were always with the guys at the studio, and hanging out, a-and we never spent time with each other anymore. You would come home late and just go to bed. You wouldn't even stay up late holding me, and talking about anything. And th-then you would leave before I woke up- that guy didn't even mean anything to me Luke. We didn't have sex. I wouldn't take it that far. I just- I just wanted to feel loved again. I wanted that loving attention you used to give me." She cried.

I propped my knee on the bed, and hugged her tightly, placing my lips on my forehead.

"Please don't leave me." She sobbed into my shoulder, gripping onto my back.

"Hush." I whispered, and kissed her cheek. "Don't cry. We're okay." I whispered quietly, rubbing her back.

"We are?" She asked softly.

"Yeah. I think so."
