I was sitting on a bench at the park as I watched a bunch of teenagers skateboarding. I thought all of the tricks they did were so cool.
They noticed me looking at them, so I quickly looked down. I placed my hands in my lap, and picked at my fingernails. I glanced up and felt my breathing stop when I saw they were coming over to me.
"Hey flatty!" One boy yelled as he approached me on his skateboard. "You know I was thinking of asking you to send me some pictures tonight, but then I remembered, there's nothing to see!" He said, and his friends all laughed along with him. I crossed my arms over my flat chest and refused to look at them. "What guys gonna want you?" Someone else said, and they all surrounded me, and all said different comments about my non-existent rack.
"Hey? What are you guys doing?" A blonde boy asked. He was a part of the group, so I don't know what he was doing. "Luke, shut up." Someone said, and the blonde guy rolled his eyes, and stepped further into the group. "She's obviously had enough. Leave her alone!" He said, noticing the tears in my eyes. I looked up at him, and he looked at me with sympathy.
"Whatever." They all seemed to mumble at different times, and then skate away. "Find a new ride home!" Someone yelled, and he sighed, sitting beside me.
"You didn't have to do that. Now you lost your ride." I said, and wiped underneath my eyes.
"I don't care about the stupid ride. I didn't want to watch them pick on such a beautiful girl, especially over something as stupid as the size of your breasts. They're not that small." He said, and i laughed. "Thanks for trying to make me feel better, but they really are that small. I had breast cancer, and both of my boobs were just lump, so they had to completely remove them." I said, and his jaw dropped.
"Why would they make fun of something like that? That's just cruel." He said, and I shrugged. "People are mean and don't care about others feelings. Well some do. Like you." I said, and smiled a little.
"Don't ever listen to what they say, and personally, I know it's hard to ignore other people's opinions, but try for me. You're a beautiful girl, and you shouldn't believe what other people tell you. Eventually, you're gonna have every guy in this town falling for you." He said, and i blushed, looking down.
"No I won't. No guy wants a girl that doesn't have boobs. I've already told myself I've never gonna have a boyfriend just so it wont hurt that much when I truly realize I'm gonna end up by myself." I said and sadly laughed, looking down at my lap.
"Don't say that! Listen, there's a reason you came to this park today, and there's a reason I came. And there's a reason you got picked on, and there's a reason I'm sitting right beside you. We have a lot more in common than you think..." He said, and I tilted my head.
"What do you mean?" I laughed.
"This is so embarrassing, but I haven't been able to find a girl that would stick around after they find out my penis size. At least you understand." He said, and his cheeks turned red.
I giggled a little, and then sat back up against the back of the bench. "I just wish people would get to know me, and then they can judge me if they want, you know? I'd rather be judged on my personality than have nobody like me just because of my physical appearance, you know?" I said, and he nodded. "I know exactly what you mean."
It was silent for a second before he spoke up. "Do you..do you maybe wanna go get coffee or something?" He asked, and looked over at me.
"Coffee sounds wonderful."
