Luke's pov.
"Hey alex! It's Jake." I heard a voice say. I turned around and saw alex talking to a guy. We came to the mall because she had to find a dress. We didn't come for guys to start talking to her.
She was here with me.
I listened to their conversation, and still looked through the racks in the store.
"Oh? You're looking for a dress? I think you'd look really hot in that one.." He said and pointed to a skin tight dress on a mannequin. I looked back at him, and he smirked as she blushed.
I rolled my eyes and turned around.
"Oh- alex look at- alex?" I asked, and turned. She looked back at me and I held up dress. She smiled, but Jack laughed. "It's beautifu-"
"What are you? Her brother? That dress is a little long don't you think? She wouldn't look sexy in that." Jack said, and leaned against a clothes rack. I frowned a little, and looked at the dress.
"I think she'd look beautiful in it." I said, and he laughed, looking at me. "Sure, she'd look good, but would you rather see her in that.." He said and eyed the dress in my hand, "..or that?" He said, and pointed to a short, tight dress.
"I think you should leave." I said, and glared at him. Alex smacked me on the arm. "Luke." She hissed.
"Dude chill out. I just wanna help her out." He said, and I shook my head. "No you're helping yourself by thinking you're gonna get her to wear something so revealing, and then benefit ou-"
"Luke stop!" She snapped, so I looked over at her. She took the dress that Jake handed her, and I rolled my eyes.
"Alex I told you I was buying, but I'm not getting that." I said, and she rolled her eyes.
"You're so annoying." She mumbled, and walked into the fitting room. I sat on a bench and waited for her.
She walked out, and I looked up.
"Alex.." I sighed, and she looked down. "Does it not look good?" She asked, and I stood up.
"You look gorgeous, but your boobs are popping out of the front of it!" I whined, and Jake stood up. "What are you? Gay? That's hot." He said, and I sighed. "I know it- Alex you're very beautiful, but I don't want you going anywhere like this." I said, and she groaned.
"Luke seriously. I like this dress." She said, but I could tell she really didn't.
"Yeah. She looks hot, man. In that other one, she'd look like she was wearing a trash bag." Jake said, but I rolled my eyes, ignoring him.
I grabbed one of her hands, and whispered, "I know you really don't like it." I said, and she looked up. "But guys will think I'm pretty, right?" She said, and I shook my head. "Guys already think you're pretty. You don't need to wear stuff like this. What's really beautiful about you is that you don't show off your body in this way. I think your modesty is really attractive." I said, and she blushed.
"Really?" She asked, and I nodded.
"You're a beautiful girl, alex."
