"Luke I wanna cuddle." I whispered, and scooted over to him on the couch of the tour bus.
"No." He mumbled, and continued to watch the recording of the concert with the boys.
I heard Luke's phone beeped so I picked it up for him, and looked at the Twitter notification. "Luke. A girl asked if you would follow her." I said, and he looked over to me and rolled his eyes. "Fans are annoying sometimes." He said, and I watched as he deleted her comment.
"Are you serious?" I asked, and took his phone back, following the girl. "Alex stop." He muttered and took his phone back, and putting it in his pocket.
"Luke that solo was so good." Calum complimented. "I know.." Luke mumbled, and stood up, walking towards the bunks. "Oh, Luke. It's our turn to share the big bed, so I already moved your stuff." I said, and he looked back at me.
"Who gave you permission to move my stuff?" He asked as if I were stupid. I stood up and crossed my arms.
"Who gave you permission to talk to me like that?" I asked, and he stepped forward.
"You obviously need someone to talk to you like that." He said, and I bitterly laughed. "Two years ago, I didn't know I'd be dating the biggest jerk in the world." I muttered, and pushed past him.
I began gathering up all of my things quickly.
"You can't talk to me like that!" He yelled, and I laughed. "Who said I couldn't?!" I yelled back. "Me! I'm your boyfriend. You listen to, and do what I tell you to!" He yelled, and I pushed him back.
"You're not my boyfriend! You're a self-centered, brat who's ego is too big for his head!" I yelled, and he pushed me backwards into a door. "Don't touch me!" He snapped.
"Any other girl would die to be in your place!" He yelled, and I laughed, and looked down. "Then why don't you let another girl take my place, because I'm done!" I yelled, and he laughed. "You can't break up with me.." He said nervously.
"I just did." I whispered, and looked in his eyes. "I'm gonna say something to the old Luke because I know he's hiding in there somewhere: I wish you would tell me lame jokes again, and tell me I'm beautiful everyday, and say you love me. I wish you would still hold me, and treat me like the princess you always said I was. I miss you." I said quietly, and pushed past him, walking into the room with the big bed.
-
I was still awake when Luke came into the room, but he didn't know that. I felt him hold me closely to his chest.
"I love you.." He whispered, and I heard him sniffle.
"I love you too." I whispered, and his arms hugged me tighter as he laid his head on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry for the way I've been acting. I've just had so much thrown at me, and it's stressful. I never think what I do is good enough, so I kept telling myself that I was, and it all went to my head. I shouldn't have mistreated you, and I'm sorry I pushed you. Please don't leave me, alex. You kept me sane." He cried into my shoulder. I ran a hand through his hair, and rubbed his back.
"You're okay. I'm just glad to have the real Luke back." I whispered, and he looked up.
"What's the cheese that isn't yours?" He asked, and I smiled.
"Nacho cheese." He said quietly, and giggled, causing me to smile, and kiss his lips softly.
