Scene 9

After Rachel and Sandy left Jackie started to think about Stark. Prof. Hecht finally left her alone.

J* Come on Jackie. Now is your change to go talk to her.

(As Jackie started to walk towards Stark, Prof. Stark turned around and stared with her sexy cold face at Jackie. Jackie was finally getting closer, but someone who seemed like was another teacher came and started a conversation with Prof Stark. Jackie retreated her steps and decided she would rather find someplace quiet to get away from the crowd.)

S* Where did she go? I finally got rid of Stephanie, and now I cant fine her. Wait... I think I can see her. Is he hiding behind the rocks in front of the art building?

(Catherine walks towards the rocks, while making sure that no one is watching her.

Prof. Stark: Why are you hiding back here?

Jackie: (Surprised to see Stark) I'm not. I wasn't hiding.

Prof. Stark: You're supposed to be mingling.

Jackie: Sorry.

Prof. Stark: It's OK. These fucking mixers are more boring than the classes anyway.

I don't think we were formally introduced... (Stark reaches for Jackie's hand)

Catherine Stark.

Jackie: Jacqueline Kirk.

S*Shit Catherine! Seriously. You picked the actress?

Prof. Stark: Ah, right, the famous one.

J* Look who is talking. You're the one with the bad reputation.

Jackie: So are you, from what I hear.

Prof. Stark: Really? What did you hear?

Jackie: (nervous, doesn't know what to say) Uh, stuff...from my friends.

Prof. Stark: Stuff from your friends... What did they say?

Jackie: That I should stay away from you.

(Catherine moves close to Jackie)

Prof. Stark: Well, then... you should probably listen to what they say.

(With a smirk on her face Catherine moves closer to Jackie. She places her hand on her cheek. Moves the strand of hair that is in Jackie's face to behind her ear.)

S* What are you doing Catherine!! You can get caught. Oh well its not like I cared about that before. Just relax, this isn't any different from the others.

J* What is she doing? What are you doing Jackie? Get away from her. I guess its too late now.

(Catherine moves closer to Jackie. Close enough that their lips are about to touch. She looks Jackie in the eyes and can hear her heart beating faster by the minute. She moves a little closer and kisses Jackie softly on the lips. This kiss was different for Catherine. As much as she is trying to ignore the fact that this one is no different from her other affairs, she is starting to doubt herself. )

Catherine pulls away and the kiss ends.

Prof. Stark : Are you OK? Do you want to come back to my place?

Jackie: (Jackie pulls away and takes her cup back from Catherine) What? No!

S* Great job Catherine. Now you have scared the girl.

J* What did just happen? That was probably the best kiss I have ever had. What is she doing to me?

(Even though Jackie had said no to Catherine's offer, she ended up going back to her place)
