Scene 21(The Beginning)
(After taking in everything Catherine had explained Jackie takes a few days to complete her first draft of the essay. She goes to the library where Catherine is working on her article.)
(Jackie walks up to Catherine and hands her, the first draft that she wrote.)
Catherine: (Taking the essay from Jackies hands and starts to ready it)
- (first page)Good.
- (second page) Really good.
It's a good start. Take a look at the last paragraph, though. It needs some clarity.
Jackie: OK.
(Jackie looks at her own paper then her attention turns to Catherine)
-Hey, Catherine?
Catherine: Yeah?
Jackie: What's your article about?
Catherine: Boring stuff.
Jackie: What kind of boring stuff?
Catherine: You know, the abnormal psych kind.
Jackie: Like what?
(Catherine not paying attention to Jackie) Catherine?
Catherine: (Looks up from her paper) Well, it's based on the theory of the reversal of self-denial.
Jackie: I've never heard of that. What's the reversal of self-denial?
Catherine: You know what denial is, right?
(Jackie looks at Catherin in a weird way)
Catherine: It's like, if you deny yourself something for long enough for whatever self-imposed reason, the moment you are faced with any real external imposition, you're gonna voluntarily want to do the thing that you were trying so hard not to do.
Jackie: Did you just make that up?
Catherine: No.
-Here, have a seat.
Jackie: Why?
Catherine: Because I'm gonna demonstrate the theory.
Jackie: All right.
(Jackie sits on the desk in front of Catherine)
Catherine: (steps between Jackie's legs) Now, you know how you're always so quiet when we have sex?
Jackie: - Is that a problem?
Catherine: - No. I just wondered why, is all. So I figured, if you're so darn quiet when you don't have to be... let's see how quiet you can be when you absolutely have to. (reaches for Jackie's zipper)
Jackie: (grabs Catherine's hand and whispers) Are you nuts? Stop.
Catherine: (Grabs Jackie's hand and put it on the desk) Hold on to the desk. Trust me, you're gonna need it.
Jackie: Woa... (moans out of pleasure when Catherine touches her)
Catherine: Shh...
(Kisses Jackie's ear all the way down to her neck) There you go (She whispers in her ear)
Jackie: (moans again)
They hear a book drop somewhere in the library. They both freeze.
Catherine: (kissed her neck then stops) Cured. (Kisses her on the forehead and backs away)
Jackie: (laughs then pushes her away) Bastard!
Catherine: (laughs)
