On their way to the red carpet

It was about a 30-minute car ride until they reached the red carpet. They were behind three other limos waiting their turn to pull up and get out. Wade was just looking out the window, while Tommy was pouring himself some more champagne. Catherine was looking down at her hands, deep into thought and Jackie caught herself staring at Catherine for who knows how long.

J* I never understood what people mean when they say someone took their breath away, but at this moment... Catherine is taking mine away.

Jackie pulled herself closer to Catherine and whispered in her ear so the boys wouldn't hear.

J: I just want to stay here with you. Kiss your soft lips, caress your beautiful body, and not think about what we are about to do.

Catherine slowly turned her face so she can take a look at Jackie, her eyes were filled with tears. She gave Jackie's hand a light squeeze to let her know that she feels the same way.

Tommy was staring at the girls, while still a bit tipsy... he was curious what they were whispering about.

T* Look at those two being all secretive, why did she have to bring this friend of hers from college. This was supposed to be my chance to connect with her. I mean... would it be so bad to be a couple on and off-screen

T: (Tommy somewhat yells) Hey Jackie! You look hot tonight!

Jackie's head snaps towards Tommy as she gives him a look full of disgusts. Wade elbows Tommy telling him to keep it together and not act out. As Catherine hears Tommy's comment, she digs her nails into her palm trying to keep calm and not show that what Tommy had just said irritates her.

J: Tommy... get your shit together. We are here to do our job and promote the movie. So please don't act all crazy, be an adult for once.

Their limo finally pulls up and it is finally their turn to get out of the car. The driver comes around and opens the door for them. Wade gets out firs motioning for Jackie to come out. Jackie gives Catherine a soft smile and gets out of the limo only to be met by a thousand flashing cameras not knowing where to look. As Tommy is about to step out Catherine cuts him and steps out first. That was her way of getting back at Tommy for the comment he made.

Jackie turns around thinking she will see Tommy, but instead, she comes face to face with Catherine. For a second, she forgets where she is and a big smile forms on her face seeing her beautiful girlfriend there on the carpet with her.

J: Thank you again for coming, I couldn't have done this without you.

C: of course! I'm never letting you go.

Tommy rushes out of the car and speed walks next to Jackie putting his arm around her waist to get the attention of their fans.

T: Come on Jacks, we have to give them what they want.
