Hello everyone. I figured you would like a new chapter so I decided to make you happy and write a new chapter since I'm supposed to be writing anyways. So, here you go. A new chapter. P.s. I really want to write that last chapter. It just comes off as strange to me. Maybe because I was trying a new writing style? I don't know. What do you guys think?
Also, there will be a couple of questions at the end of this, one that- if you get it correct then I'll give you some character secrets or a hint at the next chapter, whichever you desire.
Also, I'm thinking about writing some CrystalxRise fluff- NOT SMUT GOSH DAGNABBIT PERSON I SAID NO- and was wondering if any of you guys had requests for what appears to be the favorite couple?
Or another couple from TSD, real or imagined?
Seriously guys I have no idea what I'm doing.

Remember that time when Rise when totally bonkers?
- - - -
Silence reigned with a cold fist over the two Pokémon climbing ancient stone steps. It was so loud it became a presence, an entity, pressing physically on them as they climbed. One's silence forced the other not to utter a peep, fear and rage swirling like the storm clouds overhead. A brisk wind blew across the steps, and one paused a moment as to not blow off. She didn't attempt to catch up to the other, who shielded his face and continued climbing. The air was turning unusually cool. Celeste didn't dare follow Rise any closer than she now was, at least five steps behind him. His silence was loud enough. He didn't even need to open his mouth for her to feel every emotion.
"Rise, I-"
"Stop following me."
"But Grovyle said-"
"I don't care what Almighty /Aiden/ said. Leave me alone."
His aura washed around him, visible to the naked eye, a roiling mass of dark, ugly color. He could never hide his emotions- especially not to her. Not just because she had been trained to read others, but because once, she and Rise had been lovers. They weren't lovers in the sexual sense, although they'd kissed behind closed doors more than a few times, but in the emotional sense. Bonded by a mutual caring, honesty. Oh, honesty. She shook as they reached the top, as his head turned, but his eyes snapped to the hole in the middle of the altar on top of the hill. He talked to himself, presumed undermining the silence.
"Here it is..." He murmured to himself. "This hollow spot." His voice was bitter. "The Relic Fragment goes here... That'll activate the rainbow star... no, stoneship... That's what Aiden said. Might as well try..." He said as he placed the stone in the hollow spot on the ground.
"Rise... I'm sorry." Celeste whimpered at last.
"I thought I told you to leave me alone."
"Rise, Dusknoir is my /father/! He created me! You tell me about your amazing father, his adventures, how he once flew straight up into the sky and walked on clouds... Don't you understand loyalty?" Celeste said. Rise's face turned an ugly shade of purple and he twisted into a snarl.
"Don't you /dare/ compare that murderer to my father! You don't understand anything about loyalty! I trusted you, I loved you, I would willingly put my life in your paws and you throw it away the moment he shows up!"
"I'm trying to protect you! I'm thinking of the greater good here! Don't you know what'll happen if this continues!?" Celeste said. Why didn't he understand?
