ANNABELLE'S POV

Ashton was taking me out for dinner and I was more than excited. We got home after thousands and thousands of laughs after the mini golf incidents.

I had no idea what to wear though, I was now in the room I was staying in, confused and pouting, wishing I brought nicer clothes. I had the dress Ashton threw at me a few days ago, but I completely forget to bring anything with it, and I felt stupid, the urge to cry was lingering.

I hear a light tap on my door as I turn around, seeing the door creak open, Calum's head popping through.

"I can hear you groaning from my room." He chuckles, his hands behind his back as I fall hopelessly onto the mattress.

"I have nothing to wear Cal, I didn't even pack properly." I sigh, for the millionth time, "Ashton's not going to want to go out when I'm looking like this." And that's when the one tear slips from my eye. Thank you hormones, perfect timing.

"I brought that white dress I got a while ago but I have nothing to go with it." I throw my head in my hands.

"Happy birthday." He squeals as he presents me with a bag behind his back. My eyes widen in shock.

"You didn't!" I ask in disbelief. He giggles a goofy laugh.

"It's from the boys and myself, excluding Ashton. But they heard you yelling and were too scared of you and your hormones. Luke had to put up with it for two years, he thought it would be nice if he got a break." He admitted, making me laugh as I peeled open the bag, searching inside.

I felt like crying with joy as I opened the gifts. A black colored, formal and nice fitting blazer was neatly folded with the same color heels that were glossy and shiny.

"Thank you so much." I squeal, engulfing him with a hug.

He rubs the mascara smear underneath my eye with his thumb and smiles at me before breathing in a sigh, "Let's get you dolled up, I'll help!" I laughed, thinking he was joking.

"Oh c'mon Anna, I want to be a good friend." He huffs and I nod, sitting down in front of the mirror. "Do your magic then Mr Hood."

After half an hour of Calum fiddling with my hair and doing my makeup, I feel scared as he announces he's finished. I feel like as soon as I open my eyes and look into the mirror, I'll regret letting him help. What if he screwed up my face?

"Wait!" He yells, causing me to jump. "Get changed first so the finishing product will look just as cool! I picked out your outfit," he giggles before carrying on, "The blazer and those tight jeans, the white flow type shirt and the heels, with that necklace."

Thank you Calum Hood, you absolute angel.

"Calum, are you like, gay?" Calum scoffed as I asked the question.

"Nope," he stated, popping the 'p,' "just got great fashion sense."

Despite temptation, I walked away from the mirror without looking and got changed, Calum's head shoved into the pillows.

"As much as I'd like to look at you undressed," he muffled, "I respect you and Ashton," I laughed, "Thank you Cal, for all of this." I smiled, "I'm finished." And he instantly popped his head up.

"You look, beautiful Anna. In the friendliest way possible." He scratches the back of his head.

I open my arms for a hug and Calum accepts it. "Look in the mirror."

I turn around and see the reflection of a girl in the mirror. One who looks formal and confident. I can't help but gasp as I see that it's me. I look so different, the blazer fits perfectly, and I feel amazing. My eyes are perfectly done, the light smokey color shaped on my eyelids, with the perfect amount of eyeliner, and my eyebrows looking gracious. The nude lipstick complimenting my outfit and not looking too caked up. My hair was in a bun, it wasn't messy, but it wasn't slicked back. It was nicely tied up, with a few loose strands. Calum had done an amazing job and I hope it paid off.
