ANNABELLE'S POV
The two of us arrived home a few hours ago, it was a casual night, nothing between us had changed, or between the rest of the boys. They knew there was bound to be either tension or lust between Ashton and I but they respected our privacy enough to not ask right now.
After watching a few movies with the boys, Ashton yawned from the other couch and announced he was going to bed. If I'm being honest, I was waiting for him to so I could properly talk to him, and have a little hug. Ashton hugs are the best kind, and I really felt like one.
I dismissed myself at least 20 minutes after Ashton as I crept into the room he was sleeping in. I entered the room and found him entangled between the sheets, soft snores being heard every few seconds, in perfect sync, escaping his mouth that was ever so slightly parted. I slipped off my clothes and slid into a shirt of his, aware that I would prefer a shirt than my casual day wear.
I hopped into the double bed, his back to me as I attempted to wake him up. His shirtless torso never disappointed my eyes. I ignored my thoughts and tapped lightly on his shoulder as he groaned.
"Wake up," I giggled and whispered into his ear.
"Go to sleep Anna." He muffles through the pillow. I sigh and tap his shoulder again. An idea pops to my head, a way to get him awake.
"I'm cold Ash." I whisper as I take my bottom lip between my teeth, hoping my plan works.
With success, he turned over and faced me, his eyes still closed.
"C'mere."
And so I did, I tucked myself into a ball, my head buried deep within Ashton's chest as he slung his arms around me. I couldn't help but let a light laugh pour out of my mouth as I shook my head.
"What are you laughing at eh?" He smirks, as his raspy voice echoes through my ears.
"I know you were easy to crack, you're too nice, like a teddy bear." I giggled again as he chuckled.
"Fine then, maybe I'll be not so nice." He snarled as he shoved me away from him. I felt very shocked as my jaw hung open, unsure of what to do.
Did he really just do that?
Ashton starts laughing and stretches out his arms, "Got you." He teased as I rolled back towards him, now back in our previous position.
"Hey Ash?" I squeak as he hums in response, "I want you to know, you can tell me anything if you want to, yeah?"
"I know," he tightens his arms around me just a little more, "I'm sorry if what I said tonight came out wrong."
"I feel bad," I admit as I move out of his grasp, looking into his eyes as he does the same.
"Don't," he hums, repeating my actions from a few hours ago.
I snuggle back down into his chest and he tilts my chin up as I stare at him, the darkness not stopping me from being able to see his large, pure eyes.
He slowly leans his head towards mine as he cups my face gently with his two large hands.
"Can I kiss you?" He whispers, my heart beating rapidly.
All I can manage to say is, "Mmmhmm," in an innocent tone, as he collides his mouth with mine softly and I smile into the kiss.
"So why'd you come in here in the first place huh?" He says as he breaks the kiss, and I could feel his smirk from a few inches away.
