ANNABELLE'S POV

Getting on my school uniform as an absolute chore. I was always used to it, but after we arrived home a few days ago, it only consisted on eating little portions of a meal, chatting to mum and overthinking what to say to Luke. Last night was the worst, I didn't get any sleep because I was freaking out, I had to talk to him, I hadn't talked to him since Thursday night and now it's Monday morning. I over think, of course I didn't get any sleep. So, that's why the uniform isn't cooperating today.

It was a really nice uniform, black and white - which first of all are some of my favorite colors, but it was a short (but not too short) skirt that was black, a long sleeve and white blouse with a black tie complimenting it, and a black blazer with a white outline. Plus, it wasn't a baggy uniform, it was really nice.

My uniform finally cooperated with me as I took a look at myself in my mirror, throwing on my white ankle socks and black leather Clarks.

After packing my books into my bag, I suck into the bed, really nervous now. First of all, I had been ignoring Ashton all night and this morning, it's not that I didn't want to talk to him, I just needed those few hours to think. Besides, I'd see him this morning at school.

Secondly, I was going to talk to Luke. Today. Face to face. Person to person. Best friend to best friend.

He wasn't even here. So here in Chemistry, sitting by myself. Rosie was here too, her and I always were the top of the class. She walked into the room triumphantly and sneered at me as she took her seat, in front of Decker and Kayla, the twins that were new to the school. Kayla automatically groaned and stood up, Rosie's head snapping back.

"Stay here, the only other seat available is next to that," she pointed at me, up and down, giving an evil look. She still had a tiny bruise on her left cheek and I couldn't help but smirk as I looked away.

"No thank you." Kayla snarled as she confidently walked away and plopped down next to me.

"Nice," I laughed as she smiled brightly then she flicked her hair in a sassy type way. "Not gonna associate with whores who ruin lives." She cackled, trying to mock Rosie.

"So you enjoying this place?" I started up a conversation seeing as our teacher was taking forever to show up to class.

"Eh," she shrugged, "I haven't made any mates, Decker has, I've just been lingering around them."

"Come sit with me then, it's only me sitting with the boys, I don't really want to look like a sleep around, y'know?" I blabbered. She nodded her head in agreement before continuing.

"You wouldn't though, word on the street you were sitting with them tonnes last term," she giggled quietly as the teacher entered the room. He was such an angry old man.

"Stop the giggling Miss Smith." He automatically snapped, causing me to scoff.

"Yeah I'll sit with ya Annabelle."

"Anna," I corrected her as she saluted me, reminding me of Calum and Michael. Her personality was bright and funny, they would definitely enjoy her company.

"Double chemistry, what an absolute, fucking bore." She groaned and threw her head on the table, crossing her arms above her head, earning a laugh from me.

Chemistry came to a halt once the bell screeched, all of the class scurrying away as fast as they could. I took Kayla's hand and dragged her down the halls fast until we made it to the bench the boys sit at. We flew into the seats rapidly.

Kayla puffed wildly, "Why did we have to run?" I laughed at her profoundly, "Because, Kayla, if we didn't, they would steal the seats on this side of the bench," I smirked, leaving her curiously wondering.
